If Tabish wasn't available for half of the video you could have removed the chair. The empty chair was jarring. Also drop him if he annoys you so much. His insight on fashion is not great anyway. He does nothing but sit there and crib.
While comparing Nita Ambani's jewellery I think you were influenced by Western aesthetics where the more subtle the better. But in India jewels are bigger the better.
I respectfully disagree. Tabish is the life of this show. He is a fashion stylist, he is also funny, and direct,. Tabish is the reason I got hooked to this show, and also the video edits are so funny. I like Aamna better as a drama critique, but she makes a good show with Tabish, but I usually skip videos where Tabish is not there. 🙂

When a common man spends most of their lifetime savings on weddings, this spending is nothing in comparisons. I wonder how much would Aamna spend on her son’s weddings. Expenditure in ratio to your net worth is what matters.

A badly executed episode. Seems like not much thought and planning went into it. Pictures are missing. It was interesting that Deepika’s back gown look was boring but Anil Kapoor’s wife’s look was a Wow Yaar. At this point it, the review seems more like a “this is what I like, this is what I don’t like” as opposed to a fashion-critique.

Well, while many people are crying for the money show, pls don’t forget the Ambanis do a hell lot of charity and philanthropic work beyond anyone can think of. Also, by spending money in their kid’s wedding also implies that they are paying to a huge number of people from decorators, caterers, helpers and who not… money is always circulated, never wasted.. my 2 cents…

My 2 cents here… The Ambani women’s style sense came off as a bit tacky. The jewelry I agree with Aamina was gaudy and not elegant at all.
Somehow with all the heavy outfits, heavy jewelry , heavy makeup most attendees came across (to me) as not neat or clean.i just don’t know how to express my point effectively… but the overdone everything and the large amounts of fabric everywhere just looked so busy and untidy to me.
Despite everything being top tier the looks didn’t gel well together for me.
Also I have a BIG problem with the kind of cleavage I see on these celebrities. Maybe I’m not up to date with trends but isn’t cleavage supposed to be pushed up.!😂 The tiny blouses on the various outfits were giving me anxiety. Personally I like a more supportive and more fitted blouse to a sari or lehnga. Something that is pushing up a ladies assets and not just letting them hang loose. 😊
Tabish and aamna.. whenever I see these two together I already start feeling relaxed and happy. I just love their energy together. Perfect combination for a show like this. No one could do it better than these two. Their sense of humour is always on point.
I think Amna was a little harsh, if we consider the economic situation of the world none of us should spend money on any thing nice . So that side of the argument is kinda lame . In that regard even Mahira’s wedding was extravagant !

But you’re on point Aamna- this was an all in all display of wealth and power by the Ambanis. Some say if they have the money to blow up, who are we to complain but to think that these people live in a country where Gandhiji gave up wearing regular clothes because a majority of his countrymen were too poor to afford clothes for themselves. What have we become? They might be doing a lot of charity and plenty of worldly good but NOTHING, nothing, nothing can justify this ostentatious boast.

People do destination weddings and spend huge amounts but Ambani's did it in their own country and thats the best part of it. Magazine Guardian can only be jealous typing such things. Every billionaire generates millions of job opportunity. Even this 3 day grand celebration must have generated opportunities to employ people from all sorts of economic strata. You mentioned about how they fed 51,000 people, but in reality the jobs these people create cater to a lot more families on a daily basis.
It's also not his responsibility to bring out the majority population from poverty. It's the goverments.
They cannot stop the ongoing wars happening in the world because that is, AGAIN not in their control. They didn't start it, so they can't end it. Last time you said you were certain they aren't aiding the victims in anyway , but the truth is you don't know that for sure. May be they did. May be they didn't.

I agree with Aamna, people who are saying that Ambanis are bringing revenue to India through this wedding is nonsense. Tata has brought a lot more revenue and brands to India than any other businessman and he is simplicity personified.
Moreover, a common man spends more than he earns because unfortunately common people in India do not earn enough to host a decent ceremony. It cannot be equated to Ambanis who were outrageously showing off just for the sake of it.
