i agree with ur comment on a lot but SPOILER DONT READ MORE IF U HAVENT SEEN THE SERIE i feel like in the end he did lose to them. since what he wanted to do is punish them with the law but he saw in the end that he couldn't do it. even those he became a "nice" big mouse he still needed to use brutality to take down his ennemy. but i did like that ending since its not a good ending neither a bad one its a neutral one and thats the ending that fit the most for me. i realy like it ! hope u'll understand my vision on the ending and looking forward to hear ur opinion about it if u have time to. :)

But that's the price he had to pay to get revenge and punish them. I agree that the ending is neutral, it could have been better but it could have been worse. I wish they hadn't waited to resolve everything in the final minutes of the chapter, I think it felt rushed and some questions remained. But it is a very good series!!
