When I first saw Vito's playing on White Lion's Wait music video, I thought he was the next Eddie Van Halen. He could do the really cool rhythm guitar and the catchiest guitar solos. Thank you, Marcus, for keeping Vito's playing style alive.
I believe some solos need to stay as they were recorded. Some, you can add your own thing while playing the important changes or the important “thing” in the solo. The recognizable parts that made the solo, while maybe changing things up around those parts. And then there’s those that you just need to do your own thing from beginning to end.
We saw Marcus and Mike in Patchogue last year. We had such a great time and they were awesome.
