  • Kurt ‪@RockHoundingAdventures‬ gave me a great location for finding Honeycomb fossilized Coral and really big Brachiopods! I was really surprised at how nice the Brachiopods were I found. I was able to briefly explain that the Brachiopods fossils were formed by the world wide Flood as described in Genesis of the Bible. These mollusks, turned fossils, formed when the flood waters and soil buried them quickly.
Bring a spray bottle if you come to this park. The rocks are really dirty and the fossils are difficult to recognize.

Awesome video! There were just a ton of fossils there! Thanks to kurt for the info on where to go. The imprints are called trace fossils. What an awesome location! you got a bunch of really cool finds! Thank you for sharing!

There you go you found the trail… it’s hidden really well. I only found it cause I saw someone else use it lol. There we go the complete brachiopods you started finding are all over the place down there. I love the texture, after cleaning them up their very very beautiful. That’s a nice size piece of honeycomb you found. When I found that location I only had one an hour of spare time. The type of fossil that leave imprints are called Trace Fossils. The one at 8:31 would be cool to cut open and see what’s on the inside.
You did a great job on the video.

I agree that the mystery fossil coral (8:31)would be cool to see on the inside. It has a lot of wavy layers in it. The layers on the bottom of it look like tree rings. I would really like to get rid of all the limestone around it. Its a neat piece of coral.

Excellent brachiopods and honeycomb coral, well done out there, so cool. History is amazing especially when there's life behind it! Thanks for the cool journey.

@@createdrockswithdantherock4695 Thank you very much for the invitation but it is quite difficult and the most serious reason is I do not know English, I always do translation and secondly I am from Greece!!
I would love to come because I love America!!
