    I got to see this movie without any idea what it would even look like on day one 6 months ago, and it left me with a lot of emotions and a need to watch it a few more times. I knew it was going to be polarizing because visually, it's just what I expected from a Miyazaki film, but as you said, the story does no handholding. It gets you thinking, trying to figure out what it all means, because everything is weaves together purposefully. I'd like to see it in English too.

    I just saw the trailer and I'm excited to eventually see it. I loved Howl's Moving Castle.

    I feel as though the imagery and symbolism is fantastic, however there just isn’t any reason to care about the characters, and the story isn’t just complicated, its near non existent, it just happens with some themes sprinkled in at the end
