I think the cabinetry would interfere with a window :( but the Olympic can accommodate one .. I haven't seen the new designs myself 🤷 so not 100% but they should have the slide out bed extensions

It seemed your legs were dangling a bit trying to get to the floor. I noticed the seating around the table has a ledge but seems like a really small area. Just wondering after a couple of days how's the seating around the table? I work off a laptop and would need some level of comfort to sit there and hack code.... thanks!
I think I was sitting a bit awkward as well. At around 3:30 you will notice that under the table the floor is raised. If you sat in the dinette "property" Your feet wouldn't dangle. If you sat how I'm sitting , you're legs might be longer than mine or else maybe you need to put something under your feet :) probably best to go sit in one as they start shipping soon !
@@jw3252 the exterior height including the roof fan is 61.25" on the Yoho Pop up .. it would likely need to be on a dolly to get inside an 84" garage on a 96" opening and a mid sized truck, you would likely be able to drive it in
@@trudgeesbugout Thanks for the fast reply! Good to know. It would fit in my building's garage in LA, but not in garage at my home in desert. Much more concerned about having it garaged off the streets in LA than sitting in my driveway in desert. ☺
The main water storage is inside but yeah I guess someone could mess with your water if they wanted. With the LifeSaver Jerry can, you can get water from lakes, streams etc. you could leave the extra water storage empty and fill it up when off grid if that was a concern. Haven't heard of that being a problem though
In my opinion The Hardsider pop up truck camper is the best for the money, you get full use of your truck bed, Hard-sided pop up section instead of tent material with R22 insulation! than 500 pounds which means almost any truck can carry it and it’s made out of extruded aluminum very well engineered for a little more than half the price of this.
I know Scout is using GFC fabric in their pop up which is quality built in Montana. They build their walls and the campers in America with no wood in the shell. I know theres "cheaper" stuff coming from overseas etc. which is fine for some. Lots offer a offer a lower starting price but by the time you build it out, it ends up being quite a bit more. I just came from Expo PNW and for something similar, Scouts price is solid.

Is this under 7 feet with top down to fit into a standard garage?

There wasn't originally BUT with feedback from this expo...I heard there may be a good chance of it coming this winter!
Wish they made a pop up one just like this but shorter for the gladiator😢so you could close the tailgate for extra security for the door.
I believe they will make a pop up for the Gladiator in the Spring! it will still likely be 62 " long at the base but it will work on the truck
How do you keep from being trapped, since the door opens outside?
