The few moments of the fire in the daylight with all the crackling would make a great ambient noise video all by itself. Put that puppy on a loop and people can fall asleep to it.
Great camp site! Seemed like a pretty mellow day other than the dog. I get the impression your hiking motivation and the wine in the bag exchanged places. BTW, you watch a lot of movies and shows along the CDT, I assume you refresh those along the way?
So agree about the dog issue. I'm more afraid of loose dogs than wild animals. PS the little bit of drinking my have made you less motivated lol. Keep trekking.
😂 I can tell you’ve been drinking that wine all day long! Also I completely agree with you, people shouldn’t let their dogs run loose if they don’t have them trained! I’ve been chased by unleashed dogs during my runs and that’s a scary thing.
Honest, officer, it's just a pillow, hic! If Nightcrawler finds out you and Jeezus got to pet horses on their noses and he didn't you're in big trouble. Careful camping next to water in bear or cat country. Of course I did many times and nothing happened but now it makes me nervous. I agree about the dogs. I have a hiking stick I use sometimes but I try to find a long y shaped branch to use to block a dog from getting close. Some owners just yell at the dog and don't even say anything or make eye contact as they walk by. Good luck and stay safe.🎿
Beautiful night, nice fire, sharing wine, watching movies together. I have to ask, is this hike turning just a little bit Gay? Not that there's anything wrong with that. Being somewhat of a wine person myself, isn't Sunset Blush really Hawaiian Punch and grain alcohol? About a step up from Ripple? Good on the trail, though..
If I'm home, I much prefer a good Sauvignon Blanc (thanks to my time in New Zealand) or a reisling (thanks to living in the Finger Lakes of NY). All this boxed wine is indeed crap but it fits my budget much better.
haha.. jezusususss'.. yeah i'd say that wine gave you a bit of a buzz :) that was a huuuumongous fire hearth.. ever thought of a job in dry stone walling :) i HATE dogs & especially when they front up.. but over there i'd have a can of bear spray AND i'd use it.. actually just as much on the owner as the dog because dogs are stoopid and are just doing what they think their owner wants. but you're a nice person so maybe the polite way would be to give the owner a warning that if the dog isn't removed instantly you'll be forced to fuckitup.. i mean one of Frozen's tramily ended up in hospital after a dog attacked him on the AT!

I was inspired by the Netflix videos haha
6-12” forecast over Beartooth Pass to the south of you on Tuesday and Wednesday...
Luckily it missed us.

It's true! And yes, I download movies and shows from Netflix every time I hit town. It's almost always comedy though. That's my favorite!

That's definitely a possibility 😂

How could you tell?? 😂
5 liters of wine. Ultra light wine, right?
That's right! It's a very exclusive brand.

I agree on all points. Thanks for watching!

Pony Montana, eastern side of the Tobacco's great bloody marys at the Pony Bar.

For sure, that was upsetting. A warning to the owner may help. Hopefully I don't have to run into this issue again.
Quit filling you pockets with jerky
and old pork chop bones and the
dogs will leave you alone. Ditch
the BBQ ribs cologne.
Damn. I never thought of that. Good call!
