Draw a hummingbird with pencils/Part second
I start by lightly sketching the hummingbird shape on paper. I use a soft pencil to outline the body and wings. I then take a light green pencil and start adding the main colors to the bird's body, blending into the darker shades of green.
For the wings I use a mixture of green and purple tones to give them an iridescent effect. I carefully draw each feather, adding detail and texture. I make the beak and eyes black, adding small highlights with a white pencil to give them life.
When the main work is completed, I add bright accents: a little blue and red on the chest to emphasize the exotic nature of the hummingbird. Finally, I use a black pencil to create highlights to give the drawing dimension and realism.
