Fun fact, the fastest way to climb is with two parts of the climbing set and then ravios hood, you just gotta climb diagonally instead of vertically.

I'm also pretty sure stamina cost is based on distance traveled, so climbing diagonally, although faster, consumes more stamina.

Fun fact ravios hood works with climb speed as well making diagonal climbing very fast
The ravio hood thing isn't hidden, the items description tells you what it does.

As someone who’s fully upgraded the Yiga armor and seen that pain to go through can we please give this guy a pat on the back for putting himself through that.
Something I noticed about Ravio's hood: the game considers diagonally up as horizontal. You can get up cliffs faster if you zig-zag.
Froggy Set + Sidon can get you through the desert and fire temple with ease (or idk just buy heat resistant armor)
The Radiant Set also terrifies NPCs but only at night when the skeleton pattern glows
A very sad fact is that the royal guards armor was severely nerfed from botw to totk with how the hidden buff was changed. Back in botw the charge stamina atk on royal guard was for EVERYTHING not just charge attacks, that means it has minimum stamina for dashing in water and wall jumping. It was a pretty niche armor set for early game runs that didnt need you to grind for level 2 armors. Yes you can up the stats on the royal guards gear but removing what was special about it kinda rubs me the wrong way
It was likely a glitch/oversight so I can see why they removed it in TotK. But still... :(

Water warrior became my favorite weapon quirk in totk so fast, so im glad froggy armor it a good set for it
Water warrior is what made me start considering weapons' abilities more & become so glad that they added them. I discovered that & the froggy set pretty early in the game 🎮 and then worked so hard to get the set. It's so nice to see that connection, especially bcuz now I more associate the froggy set with the water 💧
Mine is Radiant Armor + Gerudo Scimitar with a Molduga Bone fused. Pop on a level 3 Atk up dish and pretty much every enemy becomes a minor inconvenience.

The island lobster shirt had pretty much the same effect in botw too.
As a person who’s first LOZ game that I beat was Link between Worlds, I’m happy that Ravio’s hood is in the game

What i really love is the royal guard set. Not only it looks good. But the stamina consumption was like really halved. You need to upgrade it though
Another one is that not wearing any armor gives a level 1 swim speed up

Champions leathers also has a hidden effect. It lets you use blade beams with the master sword even if you’re not at full health
Of course the Wind Waker shirt would have a "Wake Wind" effect that makes sails faster
in botw you could actually see the bonus "horizontal climb speed up" with the same graphic as regular climb speed up but it was removed for whatever reason.
I think the reason you stay wrt for so long in the froggy set is because the 2x effect is being applied to the previous buffs you receive from it as well
I love the ravio's hood reference, a link between worlds was very fun and had some cool puzzles

The Ravio Hood actually stats the effect in its description.
It's just not shown as a dedicated effect because it's unique while other effects that do show up can be applied via food and potions.
This game is just so elaborate. I love it!
And no clothes increases swimspeed by 0.15

The champions tunic fully upgraded allows you to use your sword beam even with damage to your hearts 😉
the frog suit one is actually the only one we haven't known, since all of the others are in breath of the wild, It's a bit sad how few people actually know about that game in comparison to tears of the kingdom. :(

Fun fact crocodiles will drag there catch into an underground nest of sorts or just to the bottom of the water so they specifically will rot since they cant eat fresh meat with the teeth they have

the Wake Wind effect is nice but seems a little random for Zelda 2 Tears of the Kingdom. if they ever make a third Zelda game they should try making it all about sailing, that would be cool.

Wait, is the last shirt (the extra wake speed/sail speed) text wrong on the screen, or am I crazy? Maybe the 1.8x/1.25x means that's how fast the video is playing and they're the same? But it is confusing and seems to mean the opposite upon normal viewing.

I think it was to emphasise that those multipliers make them appear to be the same speed, so the lower is faster.
