This is one of those gems that people dont talk about enough. The Fortress album is rock solid start to finish. I remember before the album came out they released a teaser with the intro riff from this song and you knew this was gonna be good.

It's one of my favorites from this album, although there's not a bad song on this album. It's a fun song to play.
Love it! Myles and Mark jokingly said that this was their ‘Tool’-like song during their album rundown upon its release. (Calm the Fire being their ‘Muse’-like one:)

Sammy....are you going to include any of the acoustic performances from Mark's backyard? I am thinking of the Taylor Guitar session and there was another, too. Those Foxwood performances are great because Myles' voice was so powerful back then.
The goal of this series is to complete the full studio discography. There are some songs that he only reacted to a live or acoustic version in the past, so he'll end up doing the studio version as part of this series. He's done quite a lot of the acoustic live stuff here and there already and I'm sure down the road, he'll get to more.
I appreciate this series so much. I sat the last two days and rewatched everything. And Fil's reactions are soooo good. He doesn't mention Creed in every one. LOL
