Thank you for your video! Very informative!! I couldn't quite understand the name of the weather app that you were mentioning in the video. Would you be able to provide the name of the app? While I think that eating in restaurants would be expensive, I think that eating prepared foods from the supermarkets like COOP and Migros would be much more affordable. I've seen videos of prices at the supermarkets and have been amazed at how inexpensive it seems to be to buy basic staples like milk, fruits, sandwiches, etc.

You are right basic stuff is not really much more expensive in supermarkets here in Switzerland, especially if you are going to supermarkets like Lidl and Aldi, which have similar prices to the ones they have in Germany. We also made a video about cost of living in Switzerland, which could be interesting to you. We showcase the prices of basic food in Migros there too. However premade pizzas and sandwich I would not consider „inexpensive“ as you did. But it always also depends on what you compare to.

I'm from Geneva and all those tips are great ! Something I would add, is that if you're in a swiss city, it can be hard to find the events. So if you manage to meet a few people, think about asking them what's happening at this time. A lot of event go around by word of mouth so you might be able to participate to some event that you would have never seen otherwise !

You are right, the first time we came to Zurich I was asking the neighbors, who were having a BBQ and they told us, that there was supposed to be a firework.
