    You'll love Mull mate, as you know I was there a couple of weeks ago. Just be aware that all the roads bar a couple are single track roads with passing spaces, but if you're courteous and stop for others frequently you'll have some great views. You and Stuart enjoy. 👍👍

    Great vlog Martin, nice to be taken along on the test ride of your Triumph(lovely bike by the way). Frontal shots are brilliant so much more depth-hight and all round visibility, shots behind seem better as there does seem to be more area to see what's going on. Sounds really sweet as you gave it some beans (test purposes of course 🤣), have a great tour round Scotland be safe and looking forward to some great stuff in the future 👌

      Thanks Steve 👍.. I reckon Im ready now for some of this adventure stuff 🤣.. yeah bike does give a bit of throaty growl when you twist so a winner there. Glad the new viewing points are on point and hopefully will have some epic stuff to share on the channel soon 👍👍👌

    Hello mate, have a look at Rox risers (they pivot as well). I had them on my Tiger 800 and found them great. Also no need to change any cables 👍

      Cheers for the heads up 👍.. 1000mile in now, I rotated them slightly but the rise still would help 👍👍

    Your Triumph certainly seems to have enough power , I'm going to look into these bikes mate

      Lighter and more nimble than the 1200 explorer, especially off the tarmac. Different models available including the new 900. So worth doing some homework mate 👍

      I have the same and love it too, but kinda wish I'd gone for an XC version as find myself drawn to dirt tracks and the like every time I pass one! Fitted bar risers to my XRx last week, but haven't tested yet. Surprised that Martin wants bar risers on the XCA as it already has higher bars than the XR range...

    • @ALCHEMOTO
      @ALCHEMOTO  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @PhatSimey I found my right hand going numb after long ride , rotated bars back a touch but needed at least 1inch more lift to be right for me. The xca had been a great bike for me and going off the tarmac, but just lacked for touring distance with the gearing.. still a damm fine bike 👍

      @@ALCHEMOTO Spooky, the worse thing for me on the bike is a slightly sore backside sometimes, but can still do a couple of hours in the saddle with no problems. Doesn't help that I'm built like a racing snake and don't have the extra padding required 😞 I rode the Tiger 1200 Rally Pro last year and did NOT want to get off it, maximum grin factor and then some! Will keep the 800 for now, planning a tour of the UK this year on it with my brother, so will see how it goes.

    • @ALCHEMOTO
      @ALCHEMOTO  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @PhatSimey See I rode all day on the xca. Even when arse was burning from wet heated seats 🤣. I still look at the 1200's.. I think they still look better than my 1250 pan america.. bikes eh.. would have 1 of every model if we could 🤣.. enjoy planning that tour.. Ive a few trips still planned u.k but norways itching my brain now 👊

    Hi Martin brilliant vlog as ever. your right on the handlebars i could do with mine moving on the 900 GT Pro. i also have the indicators so i cancel them because going round a roundabout they turned off too soon. so muscle memory just presses it in when i want to cancel them. as you say chalk and cheese to the Harley although i have a bit better suspension on the fat bob than a sportster. the good thing though with the tiger is you can stand up and shake your ass when it goes numb. the Harley having forward pegs i have to stop before my legs also go numb lol safe trip my friend. looking forward to the vlog

    • @ALCHEMOTO
      @ALCHEMOTO  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I rotated the bars forward tonight which raised them but didnt take the reach out, so indicator raised to natural position. Will soon find out how that feels 😁.. Being able to stand is definately a bonus so cant wait now to put it in its natural habitat 😁.. But one thing is I will always enjoy jumping back on the 48 for some old school fun 😃👍👍

    I installed Rivco Risers on my 2009 Rocket 3, 1 inch up and 2 inches back without any mods to any of the cables, those risers made a big difference to my riding position..
    th-cam.com/video/eSYsQAzEnas/w-d-xo.html
    ..there are probably aftermarket risers for your bike......good review.
