PSA: do not get your ears pierced at Claire’s (or at random stores in general)! The “piercers” are untrained, it’s unhygienic, and piercing guns are much worse to use than an actual needle (it’s kind of hard to explain, but you can look it up). Go to an actual place that does piercings!!! Tattoo parlors usually do them and it’s so much safer. It’ll be a little more expensive, but it’s worth it to avoid infections and having the piercings come out uneven. This isn’t to scare anyone away from piercings, I got mine done right and I love putting sparkly things in them! :) PS, if you’re afraid of needles, real piercers know how to handle that and will help you through it. They’ll make it a much better experience. Trust me, I know firsthand.
@KourtneyBeale-vp2yb just do your best to take care of the piercings, follow the aftercare directions (idk what they told you at Claire’s but you can easily look it up). Honestly, it’ll probably turn out okay!
This 100%. I got mine done with a piercing gun AT A HOSPITAL lol and it still got infected and hurt so bad that I had to let them heal up. Went to a tattoo parlor on my 18th birthday to get them done and it barely hurt, the piercer was super nice, and they’re fully healed now
@KourtneyBeale-vp2yb if you just got them I'd suggest to use saline solution, and not twist earrings. And have professional piercer on hand in case issues arise.
