    In this update we send the Mini away to be professionally polished and wet flatted.

    Rough Areas were cut back with 1500 wet and dry on a sanding disk.
    The complete body was then cut with 2000 grit and 3000 grit wet and dry on 3M Trizact disks with a DA with and some areas by hand.
    Koch Chemie H8 Heavy cut coarse polishing compound was then used followed by Menzerna Heavy Cut Compound 400, Nanolex heavy cut pads, Nanolex wool pads and Meguairs microfibre cutting pads. Then a going over with Nanolex medium compound and purple medium pads.
    Finished with Rupes yellow fine polishing foam pads with Carpro essence Xtreme Gloss Enhancer
    Project KITT will be a 1990 1275cc Auto themed on the 80's TV series Knight Rider

    Its amazing what the paint finishing experts can do ! I no longer have any patience doing anything so for me that would be a worthwhile spend !

    Progress is definitely moving forward she's looking absolutely smashingly amazing. Our Mate Paul's going to have some competition with his orange mini cooper now 😁

    Looks good shame about the dents, maybe a pdr man could get them out

      We did exactly that, the dent man done a miracle job and it's back to perfection again
