I disagree that Joshua needed humbling. He had already been humbled by Ruiz and came back better. His recent "arrogance" is, I think, more resentment than actual ego. Fully agree on loving that Usyk not only beat but mentally broke Fury.

Old school mentality. Back in the days of 15 round fights the old heads would say you need to prepare for a fight that will last (a minute shorter than) 1 hour. 15x3s plus 14 one minute breaks between rounds is 59 minutes.
Very true because that rested minute is what you use to recoup such much needed energy and the the sound advice of your corner…..if you ever need to know how important a minutes rest is go watch the rest between the 13th and 14th round of the iconic Sugar Ray Leonard vs Thomas hearns fight in 1981…..that how important a minutes rest is

It wont happen again though, because Fury is terrified of having a rematch. He cant risk being knocked out, because he is terrified of being exposed (like most sleazy con artists). He can take the fight he had, and try to con people into thinking he won (and the judges screwed him over), but he wont be able to bullshit his way out of it, if he gets knocked out. That is why he wont get in the ring with Uysk. He will find some excuse to duck it.

This guy is what a real champion looks like. Humble, down to earth, hilarious and above all else an absolutely incredible Boxer who has beaten everyone in his path.
Usyk's greatness is just beyond. He doesn't care about the talk and whether he was robbed of a knockout. He considers Tyson's family and his safety, even saying his punch could have hurt him. He won and that's what he cares about. He doesn't give two sh!ts about if he won via knockout or decision. A true champion and a very reflected, intelligent man. He deserves it all!

I used to like Fury but he didn't back up his talk past a certain point. He has 3 or 4 title defenses his whole career. Very poor! Usyk has been in the HW 10 minutes and has already unified the titles. No fake Twitter fights for him
Respectable man ....in short referee didnt steal my KO ....he saved Tysons HEALTH (last punch dangerous)
Also Tyson really fell in the ropes and wouldn’t be up otherwise, that counts as a down and the ref had to give a count. Also Tyson was defenseless at that point. But we all wanted to see the KO. I was so excited that my first reaction was also that the ref stole the KO.

It's the first time I've seen a look of pure fear on Fury's face as he slid down onto the ropes with Usyk approaching after being banjoed from one side of the ring to the other.
Usyk was restrained, the ref did his job and nobody seems to talk about how Fury still didn't know which way was up when he got back to his corner at the end of the 9th.

Very genuine and down to earth guy. He’s not fake humble like Joshua is/was he’s clearly not acting and is being himself. I was backing him to win the first fight and think he won it clearly after rewatching it a few times and scoring it and I hope he wins the second fight. Personally I think his plan to go back down to cruiserweight and try to be undisputed again is a bad idea though. He’ll be 38 by then and although I know how much emphasis he puts on reaction timing and speed in his training I think it’s a bad idea to go back down to fighting faster guys again at that age. I think he should retire on top of the world but I’m not him and he should do whatever he wants to do. And I wish him luck in whatever that is.

As much as I love Usyk and, think he's a P4P great, pre 80s may have been difficult for him.
He wins through an incredible workrate and pace these larger guys cannot compete with however, not only were the fighters back then around the same size as him, they also trained and fought for 15 rounds.
That's not to say he wouldn't have beat any of them.

I dont like Tyson, but do you fans even know boxing rules? Do you know what a standing count is? and when it is given? Yes, could've been a KO, Ref could've stopped the fight before Tyson even fell on ropes. However, magnitude of fight, Tyson's recovery history etc... It was an okay decision, not the most horrific thing in boxing

Tyson was out and the fight was supposed to been stopped, but even if referee decided to county to 10, then why did he waste time pushing Usyk around the ring and then slowing down his count? If referee was fair, then he should have either let Usyk finish Fury or he should have counted correctly to 10. So please, open your eyes and see the facts.

It’s not just the rules, it’s interpretation of the rules. If the referee thinks he’s fit to continue, he is. Of course this leaves things open to bias (and am sure the referee was ) but you can’t just quote ‘the rules’ in a situation like this
