What a cheerful happy Easter home! I love that you included your cabbage patch kids. They really looked cute and most of them looked like they were dressed for church on Easter Sunday, so cute. You are right to do what you like in your home, if going all in makes you happy and cheers you up, on some days when you need a little cuteness to boost your mood then that's what you should do. I didn't decorate at all this year because my house is a disaster area I am trying to get some home improvement stuff done and it's a nightmare. This year I kept my 8.5 ft. Christmas tree out for the first time. It’s been a Valentine’s tree, St. Patrick’s and now Easter. It has white lights, pastel lights and jewel colored lights that I can change. I want to do a 4th of July tree next. Some people think I’m crazy for doing it. I get everything from the Dollar Stores too and it always looks so cute. If I decide to do it again next year, I didn’t spend a lot. If I decide not to, I can do like you said, donate the decorations to Goodwill and let someone else enjoy the decor. It makes me happy and some people do think it’s cool and want to do it too.
