Very true, what I said in my previous comment wasn't slagging off Richard cause he is a superb actor but this storyline has really helped his character come out of his shell.
I understand that Johnny is upset about Aidan but he doesn’t have to take his anger out on everyone. But I know what he says he didn’t mean it it’s just that he’s grieving for his son
Yeah forgot to mention that in my comment, that was hilarious. Johnny is being an absolute savage but that's the best acting he's done since arriving on the street portraying the hurt and devastation brilliantly!!
I hope so too. I know he's lost Aidan and is grieving but I feel more sorry for Jenny tbh, she's trying so hard to be there for Johnny and he's just verbally abusing her
mashpolson1 I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about Jenny, I feel like she's a gold digger and just wants to save the factory so that only she can benefit from it. Also, she doesn't stop banging on about going to spain lol
I don't think she can help it (the way people say things doesn't come out right), she isn't sure how to deal with it but knows it sort of gets better eventually and he can't afford to lose it and drown his sorrows with his condition. Plus he was really pushing her at one stage in regards to her son before the end but it was cut out here.
Omg I got so angry at Johnny tonight I almost lost it myself!! I understand he may snap, he's grieving, I get it. But this is much more than just snapping, (as what Carla & Kate are doing right now.) But no this needs to stop!! Jenny's right, it's like he's enjoying it!! Enjoying picking on Jenny! Funny how he doesn't take it on anyone but her isn't it? He doesn't take it on Liz, or his kids. He has no right to dismiss her feelings like that! Once a character I liked, but I actually can't stand him right now, grieving or not I am fuming at him. He has a lot of making up to do with Jenny, a lot. I guess deep down I do feel so sorry for him but right now I feel more sorry for Jenny. If he takes it on literally everyone then I wouldn't be so angry but he's literally only taking it out on her, oh & Sophie.
Rhonwen Western Yeah he might be revealed as an abusive woman beater who might end up attacking Jenny from time to time in future episodes. I understand his only son's died and went to heaven and that he's not gonna see him for a long time and I understand he's grieving. But to treat Jenny like that can never ever be condoned in every single civilised society. Period. She's always tried to be there for him and support him but keeps getting put down and pushed away. I bet when Jeremy Kyle's dad Patrick was grieving for some time over the death of Jezza's mum Nanette his dad didn't act as disrespectful as this!!!
They both said things they shouldn't, they skipped a bit here but there was a bit where he was going on about 'I had to find my son like that' or something along those lines and she said 'well I found my son like that too, lying face down in his paddling pool' and he was really pushing her in regards to what he was saying about her son, but they cut it out here and so it makes it seem like Jenny said that unnecessarily. I know he is grieving, but you don't start going on about someone else's loss and picking on them about it, especially as all she has done is stuck by him, trying to make sure he doesn't relapse and keeping it all together.
So Johnny is allowed to say horrible things about her sons death, but she gives him a taste of his own medicine & she's the one going over the line? Deep down I feel sorry for him, but right now i can't stand him. He isn't taking it on anyone else (apart from Sophie), so why her? She's saying the things everyone else is saying & he's only stomping on her!
If he reacts like this for innocent people then god knows how he's gonna react when he finds out that Eva was the last person to speak to Aidan or that he has a granddaughter or even learning Sophie was witness to Aidans last will
I felt sorry for Sophie the other day! All she did was not answer a text from Aidan saying 'Are you coming to the party?' and I felt really sorry for Jenny in this scene
I know he's grieving but he's been bang out of order this week especially to Jenny. Poor Sophie though!! This is the best acting Johnny has done since arriving on the street, he's portraying this brilliantly!!
HiP3R SniP3R When he finds out that Eva spoke to his deceased son Aidan last, that he has a grandkid, that Sophie was a witness to Aidan's will and that Underworld was handed over to Alya(that's if he ever finds out), he'll probably go as far as killing them
Completely agree, he is gonna go ape s**t when he finds out about everything!! Could be the new killer on the street XD How on earth did Eva and Toyah think they get away with this I will never know!! Also I think Kate or Michelle are gonna kill Toyah and Eva when they find out!!
flon57 no he is grieving he just comes across as a mean bully because of the way hes acting towards her but im aftaid thats what grief does to some people

i know he's grieving but johnny's just been a complete prick to jenny since aiden died he just speaks to her like shit as if its her fault and now it seems he's going to cheat with liz, hope jim decks him when he returns
He's a great actor!
Portraying this brilliantly, best acting he's done since arriving on the cobbles
he's never really had a big storyline until now
Very true, what I said in my previous comment wasn't slagging off Richard cause he is a superb actor but this storyline has really helped his character come out of his shell.
IDH Music
Yeah he is
I understand that Johnny is upset about Aidan but he doesn’t have to take his anger out on everyone. But I know what he says he didn’t mean it it’s just that he’s grieving for his son
Great acting!
I know this is an emotionally strong scene but couldn't help but laugh when Johnny said 'BLAH BLAH BLAH" XD
mashpolson1 I found it funny when he was mimicking Jenny xD
Yeah forgot to mention that in my comment, that was hilarious. Johnny is being an absolute savage but that's the best acting he's done since arriving on the street portraying the hurt and devastation brilliantly!!
mashpolson1 I know right! When he screamed "Shut up!" I couldn't stop laughing xD I hope good things come to Johnny, poor guy 😭
Now that's not fair on Jenny
Iloveprisonbreak forever I know
Iloveprisonbreak forever
I know
1.03 funny when johnny said we’re going to miss him so much
Usually acting on soaps is mediocre at best, but Richard Hawley and Jack P Shepherd are doing a brilliant job right now on Corrie.
Along with Alison King too
And Sally Ann Matthews.
Jonathan the pixel Keane She also played Sandra Briggs who worked for Val Pollard in _Emmerdale_ .
Surgé Land Agreed
Agree, Richard Hawley is doing fantastic
I feel so bad for Jenny
Poor Jenny. She's trying to be there for Johnny but nobody's there for her.
danielroxheaps yeah!
danielroxheaps
Yeah and Johnny seems to be verbally battering her and slagging her off for it
I honestly thought Johnny would hit Jenny . He was really angry.
Jamie Holmes same
Jamie Holmes
Same but if he did then....who knows?
Johnny need a snickers
😆😆😆

I know she means well but she doesn't do herself any favors with the things she says
I don't think she can help it (the way people say things doesn't come out right), she isn't sure how to deal with it but knows it sort of gets better eventually and he can't afford to lose it and drown his sorrows with his condition. Yeah, but if my son killed himself and someone said 'I can't afford to lose anyone else' it would annoy me
Joseph
How would it annoy you

Johny just lost his son he's an amazing actor and Jenny was talking about spain not that long ago
He’s a good actor I seen family affairs it was excellent top actor props hopefully will see more off him
Okay. Johnny was being harsh, but he just lost his son. When she said it’s like your enjoying it that was messed up.
Charlie Fenton I didn’t know about that...
Rhonwen Western I didn’t even know about her sons death?
Popster MSP yeah i wasn't watching it often then but i heard that her son died in an accident?
It’s gonna be like Eric Pollard in 2015.
He was out of order last night
Savage

Richard's a great actor at 63 in my opinion but this sort of behaviour coming from him is greatly unacceptable
Good video
Johnny your not grieving, your a mean bully
flon57 exactly
flon57 no he is grieving he just comes across as a mean bully because of the way hes acting towards her but im aftaid thats what grief does to some people
flon57
He is grieving but does come across as a bully yes
I hate to say it but I'm sick of Johnny taking his grief out on Jenny.
Charley J same
Same!!
It isn't far for Jenny.
Charley J
I know.
He should take his grief out on himself
Poor Jenny is trying to help but Johnny is still too angered and upset.
Jony was a family affair actor cat was he’s wife and Pete was he’s enemy it finished Chanel 5
Hes just lossed his son! Give him a break!
Jamey Leanne Cooper he's already snapped
I wish they had included the whole thing here, cause a bit was cut where I really felt sorry for Jenny and didn't blame her for what she said at the end. The whole thing wasn't shown when in my opinion it should've been
Aww poor Jenny she knows what Johnny is going though did she not lose her son too?
Amanda Myshrall yes she did :(
Rhonwen Western Ty hun
Amanda Myshrall
Yeah she did in a drowning accident several years back
i know he's grieving but johnny's just been a complete prick to jenny since aiden died he just speaks to her like shit as if its her fault and now it seems he's going to cheat with liz, hope jim decks him when he returns
Johnny's become a selfish, grumpy old man... SO BASICALLY AIDENS DEATH JUST MADE HIM SELFISH THEN! :D
It’s not Jenny’s fault
Is it me or did Johnny suddenly turn into a brummie 1:15
0:31
They're both so toxic jeez
