About Dr. Kempegowda: Kempegowda is an Assistant Professor and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy at the University of Birmingham and a consultant at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. With a focus on improving patient care and evidence-based education, he founded SIMBA and CoMICs, and leads DEKODE and PCOS SEva initiatives. He also chairs the Diabetes UK’s Diabetes Research Strategy Group with focus on guideline implementation and identifying research areas in Acute Diabetes.
