You and Bip and uncle towny, Dallas, everyone that did an amazing job talking us thru this horrible despicable event that has happened to us, we love you guys!!! We’llalwas bleed green and gold!!! I still can’t believe this!! Keep it going B
@@brodiebrazil thank you for all you’ve done for the team man, I speak on behalf of any A’s fan I’ve ever met we love you brotha and appreciate the hard work you’ve done
Worst owner in baseball
Worst owner in sports. Aided and abetted by MLB.
Dick Monfort Colorado Rockies owner is worse 😒⚾
@Jared40 no he's not, he's not trying to relocate the rockies.
Worst owner in all of sports. He is just a narcissist POS who care nothing for the franchise or the fans. Should’ve sold the Damn team!
The white sox guy is definitely close
There is crying in baseball
I find it funny how everyone says there is no crying in baseball implying there is crying going on in other sports which doesn't happen. I got a new saying, there is no crying in sports period. There is no crying in hockey, basketball ,baseball, football, soccer, rugby, track and field, swimming, tennis, badminton etc.
@@arthurau9231too soon bro
I live in St Louis and I got Oakland scores along with the Cardinal scores on my phone. Moneyball always intrigued me. We experienced the departure of two NFL teams, but couldn't imagine everyone leaving like they have experienced in Oakland. So sorry for your pain ...
There's definitely crying in baseball😢
FJF FJF FJFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
as a lifelong Seattle Supersonics/Sonics fan, I feel your pain!!!!
They’ll return for sure, very soon
Sonics will be back.
Im from Sacramento and I didnt even like that, not one bit!
I've met several people who root for teams based on colors and the green and gold connection is strong. Athletics/Supersonics = Forever!
Yeah at least Seattle will get a new NBA franchise eventually- this is the end of professional sports in Oakland
I'm a Yankee fan and I feel like a piece of my childhood has been destroyed, I've watched several sports franchises relocate in my lifetime and this one by far hurts me the most, I hope baseball returns to Oakland.
This one hurts this bay area born Oakland A’s fan.
Giambi was safe
Also a Yankees fan feeling very sad and emotional for Oakland today. Thank you OAK for the memories
Thanks Yankees fans. Respect
Mariners fan here, been watching you for years. Always had notifications on for your videos. Really sucks how this saga played out. Great farewell postgame, watched it all. I'll be at the last couple OAKLAND A's games in Seattle
Seattle fans have been the most empathetic. We appreciate you!
As a Padres fan, it’s great to see Bip Roberts, but I wish the circumstances were different. I went through losing the Chargers due to a greedy owner and inept politicians. It still hurts and I don’t even live there anymore. Left after 60 years as a native San Diegan. Here’s to healing for abandoned fans everywhere.
As a Raider/Warrior/A's fan relocated to SoCal, I can honestly say I feel your pain. Charger fans were betrayed, nothing less. Just like we were.
And people hated on us in SD for lots of people throwing away their gear. Sucks to see Oakland having to deal with it with the A’s and Raiders. Just awful.
inept politicians? why would you ant millions of your tax dollars going to a private stadium?
@@No1CaresWorkHarderBih The world is most often not black and white. There are times when ideologies must bend to the force of reality. I’ve seen the civic benefits to being an NFL city; hosting games, playoffs, and Super Bowls. I’ve seen the benefit of having a massive venue for concerts and other events. I’ve seen first hand how a city can enhance its standing as a vacation destination by being on Monday Night Football. I’ve seen the civic pride when a team simply makes it to a Super Bowl. I’ve seen the jobs created and the identity of a region enhanced by being an NFL city. So I also appreciate the need for local governments to partner with teams to build and maintain venues. It’s reality in most cases. The SoFi situation in LA is a clear outlier. Most cities don’t have the revenue generating power that the few super cities do that would allow teams to build their own stadiums independently and without partnerships with local municipalities, who also benefit greatly from the mutual efforts.
I remember when the Sonics left Seattle. It sucks, as an M's fan I hate losing our closest rival and a good baseball town. Shame on Fisher, shame on the M's ownership group for not standing up against this, and shame on MLB for allowing it to happen.
Thank you Brodie and Bip and the whole crew (Dave, Shooty, Ray RIP). Pure passion
“Let’s go Oakland” was personal, it was about the town, the community. “Let’s go A’s” never sounded right. I too didn’t tear up until Kotsay wanted the crowd to chant. Not gonna hear that again. Only 1 owner wanted to stay in Oakland in 57 years. This sucks
I'm an absolute wreck now. My grandparents took me to dozens of games every year until they weren't able to walk anymore. They've been gone for a while now, but I wore my grandfather's hat and just took in the game like they were still watching with me. Thank you both for your compassion and professionalism.
As a Montréal Expos die hard, I know this too well. They were part of my life the same the A's were to many. It is a shame. Oakland lost their hockey team, baseball, football and basketball, that is insane. The city deserved better from both MLB and the career politicians. ⚾⚾🇨🇦🇺🇸
Expos fan here too. To Oakland fans, it doesn't get better over time, it gets worse. But cherish the great memories anyways. MLB should be in Montreal and Oakland, two great baseball cities with awesome fans.

LETS GO OAKLAND!!!
LETS GO OAKLAND...
Giants fan here, and crying….. this is so fucked up. Most of my friends n family are die hard Oakland fans…. Shame on the organization, much shame. They did the fans dirty
Same here and my emotions range from anger to sadness. It IS fucked up. The Giants had a great rivalry with the A's. And now it's gone forever. The Bay Area CAN support 2 MLB teams. Fisher ruined this team. All he cares about is getting as much money as he can without putting anything back. I would love to see the A's get stuck in Sacramento without a stadium getting built in Las Vegas.
your giants did the A's dirty so don't come in here with your pathetic sympathy
Blame the city of Oakland. This is a business.these games were like 89% empty
@@Vintagetube310 both forsure….. the people running the city of Oakland stink
@@Vintagetube310 kinda hard to want to go to go to a team ran by an ownership that is constantly self sabotaging itself, with never showing a real attempt to appreciate its fans
No matter what team you root for, it would be hard to see a team you love to root for say goodbye. Oakland A’s may not be my team, but it’s hard to see this happen to them. I hope there’s a silver lining to this and somehow Oakland gets their team back someday.
This reminds me of the last Expos game in Montreal 20 years ago. It was hard for me to believe the Expos were gone and I never jumped on the Nationals bandwagon.
Oakland Forever
MLB destroyed thousands of fans and players lifes... sad
What bum’s me out more than anything is that I will not be able to bring my future children to the stadium I grew up in and watch the green and gold take on the world. OAKLAND FOREVER!
Sending love from Phoenix. Coyotes fans feel your pain.
We do. Im still so pissed about losin the Yotes. I wont support SLC, so... lets go Hawks!
Thank you Brodie💚💛💚💛 I’m still praying for a miracle, The A’s belong here.. the world knows it
I was there today. I haven't cried like this since my Rottweiler died. I feel like a part of me died today.
But for all of the sadness, there was a lot of love in the Coliseum.
Barry Zito sung the National Anthem, the A's took care of business, hell we even got to hear Celebration by Kool and the Gang.
Our last dive bar.
It's closing time. 💔
Thanks Brodie and Shooty. ❤

When Baltimore Colts owner Jim Irsay moved his team in moving trucks in the dead of night in February 1984 to Indianapolis, he then appeared a few days later in the Hoosier Dome before 30,000 welcoming fans and he cold-bloodedly told them: "You think that the Colts are your team. Well, they're not. They're MY team and if you don't buy enough tickets....I'll move the team again to some other city." Billionaire sports team owners are money-grubbing crocodiles and if you like sports don't buy tickets and watch their games on television instead.
THAT WAS ART MODEL! AND IT WAS CLEAVELAND That snuck out in the middle of the night! Ohio made it clear to Model. DONT YOU DARE COME BACK TO OHIO Ever! He stayed the hell out!
I just support my minor league team. But I feel the Oakland A's fans pain when Amarillo spent 38 years in affiliated minor league baseball PURGATORY without a team. Fortunately our nightmare ended when the city built a new minor league ballpark. A new ballpark is what will end Oakland's nightmare. MLB teams are PRECIOUS. Other cities will build a new ballpark to LAND a MLB team. Professional baseball IS a business, not a cult. Believe me, the pain never goes away, not until a new team replaces the former one...
@davidrobinson8337 Perhaps that quote was Modell, but I promise you it was the colts that moved out in the middle of the night. The Cleveland / Baltimore situation was not great either, but that was all worked out before they officially moved. The Browns never left cleveland, the Ravens are an expansion team on paper. The Colts unequivocally left Baltimore.
That was Bob Irsay that moved the Colts
Mariners fan. Been to a couple games when Oakland came to Seattle. They'll always be the Oakland Athletics to me.
Losing 3 major sports teams in a short period of time is a gut punch...
Toughest A's game I ever watched 😞 #sell #saveoaklandasbaseball
Not a dry eye in the house!!
As an lifelong East Coast A's fan my heart is grieving and aching Brodie. My son and I were fortunate enough to see them a couple of times in Philly including this year! I'm sorry you won't be at your job anymore. I love watching your channel your my favorite! God Bless.
How sad…😢
Being from Anchorage, AK, we lost our only pro sports team (minor league hockey) back in 2017. Granted, circumstances were far different, but it still hurt SO DAMN MUCH. I'm so sorry, Oakland. I never want anyone else to feel the pain I felt a few years ago.
No way. I lived in San Diego for a year . One night I was bored so I went to a San Diego gulls game. I had no idea what league it was, I just wanted to go to a sport . That night they played a team from anchorage. I’m guessing that was your team. Anyway, I’m just a hurt A’s fan
@@philmccracken179 that's crazy! Yes, the Gulls used to play the Alaska Aces in the WCHL & ECHL
I remember being destroyed when the Rams left Anaheim. Absolutely devastated. Let us hope that somehow some way the A’s return to the East Bay. If they do, let’s hope it does not take 20 years.
This is bad for baseball. There’s no reason for them to move.
A fickle fan base with the lowest attendance in the MLB. If you don't treat your MLB team as being PRECIOUS, you lose the team...
@@ronclark9724Wrong. If you give the customer a consistent inferior product, you lose customers.
People vote with their wallets. Maybe you don’t care about getting value for your money. Most of us do.
“Oakland A’s” and “Oakland Athletics” rolled off the tongue so well. Won’t be the same in a different city. A sad, horrible day for baseball and baseball fans everywhere. Sending ❤ from Phoenix
FJF
I'm a Cardinals fan but today I also became an Oakland A's fan
Ex OAKLAND A'S FAN LIKE ME.
THERE'S A TEAR IN MY BEER 😢 🍺 .
As a Seattle sports fan, I feel for the fans of the A’s. Having lost the Sonics, this absolutely sucks!
My sports heart goes out to the fans of Oakland, you’ve had all of your Major League teams leave your community.
Hopefully one day you’ll have community leaders and owners working together rather than against one another.
I believe owners should build and maintain their stadiums and that communities should never ever be held holding the basket.
My wish is that no community loses there teams unless it’s mutual! Fans will always pay the emotional price in the end!
A's relocates to Sacramento just like how the Coyotes relocated to Utah.
Here is a thought, maybe we could keep the Athletics in California. Maybe, we could keep this team in Sacramento. This team will not fit in Las Vegas!
You don’t matter the owner will go wherever fits his bottom line.
Brodie & Bip yall are fucking legends 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Let's
Go
Oakland
💚
This day should had never happened MLB and the As owner dropped the ball big time on this
John fisher didn't drop the ball. He stole it.
I've been crying all week, sobbing today. Took the day off to watch it with my sister. We went to so many games together not just with our parents when we were kids but just the 2 of us "getting in trouble" on our own bitd. 😜 You've done a great job Brodie. I can't thank you enough for everything you've given us. Great show today, on such a difficult day. 💚💛
Yotes fans here are with you! 2024 both for fan bases are sad and celebrating memories.
Hearts are with you Oakland.
So fitting, was listening to classic rock in my collection and up popped 'CRYIN SHAME' by a band called Cold Sweat (1990). Thanks Brodie, I know it had to be really difficult day.
As a lifetime Giants fan, who grew up watching and supporting the A’s and their Modesto affiliate, too, this is the episode we all hoped we would never see…
My heart breaks for this fan-base and the end of a truly epic legacy of greatness, both on the field and in the stands… 💚💛⚾️
I grew up watching Canseco, mgwire, Rickey Henderson
Yep my throat hurts n eyes leaking
I am a Mets fan but this hit me in the feels too... Thanks for posting the postgame clip, Brodie.
The end of Oakland sports is truly the end of the Bay Area raucousness. Warriors and Giants games are dominated by corporate fans (or when the teams suck, nobody). Oracle Arena on the other hand was the loudest place I’ve seen a hoops game. Niners games don’t have the intensity they did at the Stick (and certainly not like the Raiders at the Coliseum). The Sharks have a great arena and fanbase, but hockey hasn’t yet had a huge jump in the Bay.
I was there for the WC game in 2019 - I know this one ain’t on the fans. I was a Raiders ticket holder until they moved. I will miss losing my mind at the Coliseum until the Roots find a way to bring it back.
San Francisco games are terminally boring. You used to be able to either go to SF and pay triple the price for a boring experience, or go to Oakland and hang out in the ol dumpy Coliseum for way less money and a great time. It's horrible that this no longer exists. Ugh.
What about the San Jose Earthquakes?
@@marclucas9701 Same ownership group as the A’s - currently toiling at the bottom of the MLS
Rip Oakland athletics
Kevin Johnson was a Superman for Sacramento he literally saved them from moving to Seattle
Is Brodie still cheering for this team once they leave?
I’m done being an A’s fan. I can’t follow them to Vegas
It's not the same man. They're not the Oakland Athletics. Just like when the Houston oilers moved to Tennessee. I never did like the Titans.
I’m a life long #Orioles fan and watching and listening to Bip and Brodie break down has wrecked me tonight…my heart goes out to Oakland and all A’s fans suffering because of this immeasurable loss 💔
My first ever MLB game was at The Colosseum in 1995 vs the Yankees. I saw Mark McGwire hit a homerun. I'll remember it for the rest of my life.
this hurts me Love the A's since 1972 A's will always be my team. I am also from Sacramento as well and excited for my home town but have mixed emotions right now
Thank you Brodie 💚💛
I don’t care what anyone says, they will always be…the Oakland As
Piece of all of us just died and it hits hard . love ya Brodie ! Love ya Bip ! Love ya fellow A’s fans for ever in my heart 💚💛
The A’s belong in Oakland.
So sad seeing the other fella cry like that. I’m a Giants fan but the A’s are apart of Bay Area culture. I hate that they’re leaving. John Fisher is THE WORST.
The Giants screwed the A's by keeping them from moving to San Jose.
All the owners are bastards.
As a Tigers fans, I cant believe that a team with that much history is leaving.
It's just like the Expos in Montreal. I still am very upset at Fisher and MLB as a whole.
Thanks, Brodie and Bip. You gentlemen are a class act. I saw my first A's game in 1971 (Vida's 20th win) and have been going to games even since, including today. I didn't think today would be as painful as it was. When Stomper entered through centerfield and John Fogerty's song started playing, it really hit me. I could easily write a book about my memories of the A's and the Coliseum, from being a fan to covering the team and interviewing Billy Martin, but when the game ended, I didn't like baseball anymore. I'm not sure if I'll watch the game again. After more than 50 years of playing the game, writing about the game, reporting on the game, and just plain being a fan, I feel terribly betrayed and let down. Maybe I will reconsider, but for now, I'm done.😢
A Coyotes fan, I understand that feeling. Nothing but love to y'all and Oakland 💚💛
Move the hopeless Angels. The A’s and their fans should sue Mandred and Fisher for this rotten travesty.
My heart breaks for you fans. Done dirty in so many ways. Hope fisher and kaval get theres one day.
💚💛💚💛💚💛💚
Don't let the City of Oakland off the hook. They are as much, or more, to blame as anyone.
No, they aren't. They don't have the money to to Billionaire benefits.

Thank you Brodie & Bip, for everything. 😢
Giants fan crying.
My name is Bip not Pipp anybody know what I’m talking about? I’ve been a Bip fan ever since I heard that.
This WAS my team. I grew up as an OAKLAND A's fan. Capt Sal Bando came to our 6th grade father son banquet. Went to many games with my father and brothers and sisters. Got to see Catfish, Vida, Campy, Sal, Blue Moon Odom, Rudi. it was amazing. Saw the night STEW got his his 20th win in four consecutive seasons. Yelled to Jose Canseco while he was in outfield, next inning home run, he looked at me, and when he got up to bat he did. Saw Miggy get his first 200th hit in a season. Loved Big Mac. ECK. Carnage. Steiny. My God, what did this owner do to my team & my memories. SO sad, now I am bitter and mad. All owners voted to move out of OAKLAND. I will not watch ANY MLB games anymore. I just don't care.
Charles Finley selling off my players, and, most likely, a 4th and 5th championship to Kirk Gibsons homer off Eckersley in game 1 of the 1988 WS, can't even remotely touch how I'm feeling today. 😢I love you, Oakland Athletics. You and the Oakland Raiders were my first love.❤ FUJF! I hex you!
This sucks, I feel for you A's fans! I remember when the North Stars left Minnesota, moved to Dallas and won it all for them, not us. At least we have the Wild now. Hopefully you guys can get a team to root for again.

Also, I can't believe that Bip Roberts is 60 freakin' years-old!!! 🤯
Brodie, so sad for you and all the A’s fans in the Bay Area. I got a chance to visit the coliseum back in 2019 visiting from Texas. Hopefully the Bay Area can get an expansion team.
I live in the Los Angeles area, a few years ago I flew up to Oakland to visit my sister and went to a Oakland A's, from that night on my opinion and perspective on A's fans forever changed. As a Dodger fan, I had to admit OAKLAND A's fans are the best in MLB, I went back this season for 2 more games. So sorry to all the amazing fans of the OAKLAND A's. I now own a Oakland A's with a Last Dive Bar pin, a Last Dive Bar shirt, and a Oakland A's shirt. Let's Go Oakland.
From a Yankees fan, I’m so sorry for your loss. This is so low and disgusting. Fisher should be ashamed of himself
Mets fan here! I put myself in the Oakland A’s fans shoes and don’t know what I would do if my team left Queens. There is crying in baseball & much love sent from all baseball fans to Oakland A fans today! ⚾️
My heart is just broken for all you guys. I'm so sorry. You A's fans deserve better.

It's understandable that fisher gets the Lion's Share of the hate, but let's make no mistake... there's only 2 real victims here. The fans and the community. That's it!
The city of Oakland Alameda County, the San Francisco giants, Rob Manfred, mlb, fisher, wolff, Schott, Hoffman... They all own this together. This was a group effort over 20+ years.
I'm sorry for all those hurting tonight. Bad situation all around
I'm not gonna blame the city that got raped by the Raiders ownership.
Thank you both for such a sensitive and open comment. Let’s realize politicians of the area don’t care and neither ownership for having A’s in Oakland. Sad but true
So.very.hard. 😢
The City Leadership of Oakland failed the amazing sports fans of Oakland. ☹
As a giants fan, I I’m even sad for the A’s because we literally play them twice every year and it just won’t hit the same anymore
