Can there be anyone who wouldn't have LOVED to see Zenaida as Juliet and Giselle? What a pity she didn't get those opportunities - for her and for us as the audience. I saw her on video coaching Swan Lake, and I know for sure she is under-estimating herself as a coach. Great interview with one of the most thoughtful and intelligent of dancers. Thanks.
This is a wonderful interview: Ms Yanowsky talks openly, intelligently and fearlessly about the ballet world and her career. Dancer's Diary, I love the way you stay 'invisible' and find the right questions to encourage your subjects to talk so freely. Your interview series is extremely interesting and indeed vital in terms of understanding the life experiences and creative forces that drive dancers.
I saw her in the Eurovision competion for young dancers and was so much impressed. Later she became a principal dancer and I was not suprised. She also seems to be a very nice person .
Lovely interview with Zenaida! She's such a joy to listen to, so open, nice and honest about her many experiences... I found her really inspirational. Thank you for this! ❤✨
Such a kind, gentle spirit! Zenaida is truly an inspiration and i found this very insightful! I would have loved to have seen her as Aurora and Juliet - as a tall dancer myself, I can completely relate to the frustration 🌸
@@DancersDiary There is a way to control it but I'm not sure how. I saw something about that in a video...I want to say Bernadette Banner but I'm really not sure? I seem to remember something about the monetization dashboard and how YouTibe just auto-inserts ads like mad. Anyone else want to chime in here???
@@DancersDiary hi I really appreciate your work interviewing these beautiful dancers❤️❤️ I'm a mexican male ballet dancer and I would really like to know where you used to dance here in Mexico, It would be really intteresting to know☺️☺️❤️
The best Queen of Hearts in the universe.

I became aware of Zenaida really just this last year, so late. But she is so wonderful, so grounded, so different. Beautiful
Lovely dancer, person who has created and curated a lovely life for herself.
I love these interviews. Thank you for them.
Zenaida is such a natural speaker ...and refreshingly honest and open here.
Forever an inspiration, thank you for sharing.
How tragic that ROH wouldn't find her a tall partner which she rightfully deserved.
It makes my day when I see that a new one of these interviews have been posted, thank you :)

Interesante y sincera entrevista.Bravo Zenaida por tu formidable carrera!!
Zenaida is GORGEOUS 🌹🌹🌹
Wow this was fantastic and such an intelligent woman❤❤❤
My old biology teacher was her brother-in-law - so amazing to think he has met her!
My favorite ballerina ever.❤
Thank you for the interview. However, I would ask that you work on the mid-roll adds....3 within the first 4 minutes seems a little out-of-control.
Hey! I agree with you. Is there a way to control that? Looks like TH-cam doing that automatically

I love Zenaida, thank you very much for this amazing interview. One curiosity, is that a Grammy that she has behind her? lol
Yes it is! I believe it belongs to her husband, an opera singer.
@@eg-2585 Thank you for answering! That's cool!
@@PoisonedApathy Thank You for asking, I was wondering the same thing . She is lovely !!
Is that a Grammy behind or Is Just me?
Her husband (Simon Keenlyside, an opera singer) won a Grammy a few years ago, so it probably is.
The Russians are smart. They appreciate tall, which looks much better on stage; and they are the best in the world!
I dont undestand at all. I would like that she had danced
Hey, what exactly you don’t understand? I never filmed her dancing and I don’t own the rights of her dancing videos ...
