Lemurs are a type of prosimian found in only one area on Earth-Madagascar and the Comoro Islands. There are over 100 lemur species and their diet varies among each species. Smaller lemur species typically feed on fruit, insects, or sap, while larger species are mainly herbivorous, chomping on fruits, leaves, flowers, nectar, and bark.
