Born in 1951, Susan Blackmore is a British freelance writer, lecturer and broadcaster. Having graduated from St Hilda's College, Oxford with a degree in psychology and physiology, she went on to do postgraduate work in environmental psychology. In 1980, she gained a PhD in parapsychology. Her research on memes (which she wrote about in her popular book The Meme Machine) and evolutionary theory has contributed to the field of memetics. 3 of my mates were in a room where a shadow person walked through. I’ve seen them too in my house. It wasn’t sleep paralysis although I get that too. I know what I experienced and what I saw. It wasn’t all in my head, there’s more to reality than people want to admit. I’ve definitely done the mental gymnastics to find “plausible explanations” but the most plausible one I find at this point is that reality itself is rather strange.

Sounds to me as a very dangerous experiment, Persinger is a brilliant scientist but this is not oké to interfere with the natural electromagnetic field of the brain,, and what Susan is describing are side effects afterwards. So not a good idea, let nobody mess with your natural metabolism of the brain.

Actually, the same effect can be had through highly practiced meditation. Some people, like Ingo Swann could do it on will. It's a double edged sword.
