The "spike in your heart" is called a visceral reaction, it happens when your life-or-death instinct kicks in for a split second before your brain remembers that you're not actually in danger (from my knowledge)

((But of course the setting and game immersion is what really sells it.))

This was very fun to watch, the game is nicely done and captures horror pretty well imo
Also, anthology is usually a collection of poems, so i'm assuming all the 'chapters' are gonna be based off of different fears, while following the storyline of Alice and Emily
As for games you should play, i'd recommend Happy Game. It's described by the creator as psychedelic horror, and is very disturbing (There's also a lot of flashing images so careful lol)

They should make a psychological horror based on Nagoro (The Village of Dolls) : The little village of Nagoro, deep in the valleys of Tokushima Prefecture on Shikoku, is known around the world today as the Village of the Dolls. These dolls are called kakashi or scarecrows in Japanese, but their purpose is to combat loneliness rather than bird pests. : And Grizzy should have to play it by rite haha xD
Basically the Village of dolls was a village deep in the mountainous valleys but when everyone moved away 1 by 1 (or died), it became more and more lonely for the soon to be sole resident in the village so to curb the loneliness the villager started to craft dolls to replace the people that left and keep their memory of them.. so they live their life as normal greeting and interacting with the dolls as if they were the villagers that had left. : As the population of Nagoro declined precipitately, an elderly resident, Tsukimi Ayano, started to replace the people who left or died with life-sized replicas made of straw and old clothes. These dolls are placed naturalistically around the hamlet, in realistic poses. : In a way its a sweet that she's basically making a doll in their honor (her first was one of her own father to protect the garden from crows, and when people mistook her scarecrow for her father she thought of this way to respect those that have died or left the village), but then if you think about it another way... a village of dolls and one sole resident... how horrifying of a game that would make.. not as the one who creates the dolls but as a journalist that visits during a dark time...

Hey I love the solo horror game video and think I speak for everyone when I say we want to see more! Also its not the scariest horror game and is much longer than this one but resident evil 7 or 8 are great games that have some good spooks in them too, if you ever are bored and need something to play they are totally worth it.
