Drum brakes is way more efficient and cost effective than dics. I had a set if rear dics for my 1989 toyota corolla from a levin but sold it when i got ny 1994 toyota corolla and just bought new drums and to me is about the same compared to disc, dics are just more practical and safer when it's raining.

Wow bruddah thats a nice corolla love the content and prayers to you and your family. Cool you went name your car after your grandpa. I lost my grandpa last year at kuakini hospital he was in his 90s. He lived along life as a electrician. Aloha braddahs in the JdM honolulu seen. I live in montana but my roots are in Honolulu. Born.
