What is a Container Runtime?

A container runtime is what makes it possible for us to build, manage, and run containers throughout our environments. There are many different options of container runtimes that we can choose from and in this video we will talk about a few of those.

Containerd is already the default container runtime for GKE (Google Cloud's managed K8s service), and it was at the time of publication of this video. Docker has been deprecated for the service.
