Dragonstar Funny how things work out, eh? We've actually been a band for over 8 years, but we've only been active on TH-cam for the last couple of years, and that's why stuff like the nightcores and AMVs have been spreading. Before that, it was mostly us touring the country and we weren't as active with video. We're grateful for all the awesome people like Underdogs and the like who've been spreading the word.

This song is a special sort of sad when you realize that this is the exact opposite of how the character Toga feels about herself.
To her, this "Monster" you call her is her definition of her "Normal."
To her, the world is not her "normal" and as such, the world must change, so she doesn't have to.
It's both a selfish and desperate attempt at control that she never possessed in her childhood. And Ironically, it's her parents lack of sympathy and compassion for her precarious situation that set her on the path she would eventually walk.
