For all those people who are criticising this mum, the paint she’s making is straight cornstarch and water so it won’t taste very good , the children will learn that paint is disgusting and won’t want to eat it because there is no flavour at all except for the cornstarch. Edit:OMG GUYSS THIS IS SO MANY LIKES!!!
For the people that don’t know: She has added mostly cornstarch/cornflour and water. This will make it edible and it isn’t toxic it is just it will taste disgusting. So moral of the story don’t eat paint even if it’s edible.
Here's a story about me eating paint as a baby: So it all started when my parents were painting our deck black and they gave me a fudgcicle to eat while they were working and I finished it, and of course I wanted another one. I didn't ask or anything, but instead decided to look for one. Right next to me was a sponge brush covered in black paint. As you probably guessed, I put the paintbrush in my mouth and started eating the paint. My mom noticed that the inside of my mouth was black and then she realized what I had done. She freaked out and called an ambulance. I was fine (ofc), but I did get sick.
It’s a safety precaution. If her kid eats the paint when she’s not looking she won’t need to worry that much. And even then she will hopefully firmly tell her child/children to not eat paint. You need to think logically-
But schools aren't going to do this so if they learn to eat Paint then what happens when they go to school this could be very dangerous. Instead I recommend watching thier actions and correcting them with a positive attitude.

PEOPLE WHO ARE SAYING SHES TEACHING HER KIDS TO EAT PAINT: IT IS MADE OUT OF CORNSTARCH AND WATER, IT TASTES BAD SO THEY THINK PAINT IS GROSS AND WONT EAT IT AGAIN.
Corn starch and water make a really fun thing I don't know how to spell it but it's really fun when you put pressure on it it turns solid but when you go lightly in it it's like slime and it's just corn starch and water then mix if you want to add color use food coloring.
I feel like doing this is just teaching the kids that eating paint is ok . And plus most acrylic and water paint is non toxic so just buy non toxic and tell your kid not to eat the paint if they do eat the paint they have consequences but good idea ❤❤
If the child ends up not caring about the taste and just went to eat it. They’re gonna think that regular paint is OK to eat so just don’t do this and get them some Crayola paint so be safe if they try to eat it when you tell him no that’s gonna get you sick and that’s the whole solution to the problem
I’m sorry, but not to be rude. You can avoid this in so many more ways. Such as: teaching your kid a lesson, taking paint away, buying a device (modern way), or letting them go to the park or on a walk.
no she is saying that just incase ur kid does in eat paint make this because paint has toxins and disciplining ur child isn’t the best way to make them learn these things
She’s not, she’s giving an alternative because sometimes toddlers don’t listen no matter how much you tell them. This “paint” is edible and safe for them so they won’t get hurt
Babies and toddlers inevitably put everything in their mouths. This recipe is a safe way of introducing the texture and teaching them painting skills in a safe way ❤️
Stop saying things like “ew i would never do that i wouldn’t just give paint” or “ew” she added cornstarch with tastes bad with nothing for her kids to learn that eating paint is disgusting and prevent them from eating them again and if she does this every time they will learn from it and she can give them paint without any issues.
