childhood memories. i love ALL sounds in this game especially when you hit someone with the crowbar. love it!!! seriously, sounds in general made all these retro-games so much worth playing.
In all fairness to EA's battle plan, they already learned how to regurgitate the same game over and over even back then. I am sure they would have charged for the bike upgrades if they had a way to do it.
I've spent so much time on this game that 20 years later I still remember every music ! Tomorrow I will buy a new Sega Megadrive, and this game will be on my top 5 list for further buying !
+tails41yoshi Right! It takes a while to get use to Lucky Luc in terms of overtake him and dealing with his Oil Can abuse. More like wasting a useless weapon in the game. Lol!
+tails41yoshi +tails41yoshi It makes your bike handle less effective for a couple of seconds as it decreases your speed during a turn. You can fall off your bike if sharp turning careless without using your breaks once your wheels made contact with oil. It's pretty easy to avoid.

The frame rate is absolutely decent considering the amount of stuff the game engine handles (real scaling, changes in height...) and the game itself is very playable and fun! Great game with a badass soundtrack!!! (and, once again, nothing like this on SNES)
Only if ea had made this a lockk on cart, Like sonic and knuckles U can hook this up to road rash 2 and use all the stages. The only complaint was there wasn’t many sages
The cars 🚗 crashing into each other at 4:58 always used to make me laugh 😂. I lost my road rash 3 game will have to see if I can buy it again I think 💭
Oh god. I was waiting for this one. One of my favorite games for reliving stress. Cause nothing get's the stress of the day out like kicking someone into an on-comming car got over 200 MPH
I played this game a lot of times, you need to have a lot of reflexes to complete it, it's a lot of surprises and unexpect things to deal with, sometimes a car appears on your face and you have only a nick of time to dodge it! And that's one reason for this game be so awesome!
Oh wow this brings back memories. Virtua Racing (by the legend Yu Zuzuki who also created Hang-On and my favorite game Shenmue - i can't wait for Shenmue III), and also Kawasaki Superbike Challenge and Monaco GPII are probably the best sims of the 16-bit era. The Mega Drive/Genesis always had the upper hand over the SNES in fast paced games. I like VR and KSB because they are the perfect reply to SNES fanboys who say the Genesis can't do 3D polygons. Virtua Racing is more impressive than the SNES's best offering - Starfox. (Also, the awesome unreleased Genesis game ResQ, which you can now buy in Repro form, has Starfox graphics just in its 'bonus' levels.) But VR and Starfox use a special chip in the cartridge. A better comparison is KSB. The Genesis smokes the SNES off the line, with many more polygons and more happening on screen. It plays better too. th-cam.com/video/l8eaHk0IXps/w-d-xo.html
