It looks like the "Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's Chest" movie somehow got a hold of those prototypes for characters on the Davy Jones ship. I'm not familiar with any action figures that came out from that movie although I know there had be some.
Those looked pretty cool. It would have been nice if they could have made an arrangement to get a comic book series based on the idea, then they could cross promote each other.
They look like they would've made good Army Builder goons for Aquaman or Namor figures, maybe even giant villains for a Man from Atlantis figure, if they'd ever got it as far as the shelves. Nowadays there aren't enough generic, non licensed figures for cross play so that kids can make up their own scenarios. But then kids don't really play with toys like that anymore, they take to their tech and their screens earlier. Action Figures for kids are dying off, but what can you do? Things change.
They look a lot like He Man in style. but with more playability features. It'd be cool if they were same size and compatable with them as well cos then there would be vehicles and stuff kids might already have that they could use as well.
@@trtledave3079 Yeah. I never really had that much stuff from there. Just stickers, stationery or those puffy vinyl pencil cases with the lids and swing out drawers. I remember the vinyl smell.
@@gooniesgirl1979 had a few of those too, the thing I remember the most though was a lil plastic lock and you had to align the heads and bodies of the proper characters to open it. They had some cool merchandise back then.
Tigersharks meets motu
The problem is that there are only sea creatures. What they really needed to succeed was to add some sea men.
A sea food line that was canned 😂 available from your local market 😂
These are cool, could definitely be used as goons or lackeys that Mer Man from MOTU uses.
The Eel one was weird with the tail coming out of the back. Octo looks cool, and sort of has a "Davey Jones" thing going.
Too bad they weren't released
Cool looking figures, a lot of detail.
This line could've been strong...like a cup of☕️coffee...🤘🏼💯✔️

Look better than what was out at the time.
Now we have all kinds of mythical creatures out.
Prof Junkbro... I love these kind of vids! Thx!

Pretty sweet
Maybe too expensive to produce.
Those sea creature figures look good! Some of the concepts remind me of Masters of the Universe, but with more detailed designs.

These are sweet, but none look like heroes. I liked the TigerSharks cartoon. SilverHawks is bad though.
These are pretty cool . I wonder if someone could scan them and put them online.
I want to see a Lavantualua toy Series. Lol
Eel looks pretty cool. 👍

They look like western MUSCLE figures.
Sanrio huh ? Didn't ythey wanted to break in the action figure business.
Neat figures but give me more Choco Cat!
I’ve got a few of these
16 inches??? No wonder why they failed, unless it was actually supposed to be 6 in?
How you be finding this stuff? Lol
Google ;)
I liked going to the Sanrio shop in the mall when I was little.
@@gooniesgirl1979 same, I loved Hello Kitty until I found out it was a she, then I felt like I wasn't supposed to be collecting that anymore
