4 Season Bros so you just loosen the bolts and let it flow out and make a mess? Just picked up a 2013 renegade 800 and wanna be able to do all this myself. Thanks for the info
Very helpful! Don't undertand why there isn't s simple drain plug, bizarre! Looked up in a service manual and notice you're supposed to tighten down the chain case in a certain order to 89 lbf-in? BTW is your coolant tank filled to the top? Found that odd, they're usually self levelling near the seam at the bottom aren't they?
The whole battery being ruined on the cement idea is very outdated. Batteries made today are not affected by sitting on cement. Years ago batteries had shells that would absorb moisture and could destroy themselves. Now, batteries have non absorbing plastic cases that can sit on cement all day, every day without any issues.
Good lighting for the video, I'll use it. With all of skidoo's R and D they should research and develop a drain-plug. Holy buckets!
This good if you looking to check gears, but to just change oil there is a plug by your foot and one underneath by the track.
Good point
Informative, everything explained clearly, good job guys!
+David Brutscher Thank you very much!
How did you get rid of The old oil?
Good vid but for those following those are all metric bolts not imperial.
I put 12oz of oil in my chain case. Will I hurt anything or will it be fine? Hearing lots of different opinions. I’ve got a 2006 Ski Doo 800 rev.
What took them so long to put a drain plug. Ski doo
I dont know lol
@@4SeasonBros You mean put a drain plug again. My 99 mxz has a drain plug! No drain plug on my 2012, dumbest thing ever
How do we remove the old oil? Is there a drain cap somewhere ? Got a 600 etec 2012
You loosen all your bolts on your chain case there is no drain plug

+Big Chili Rango from my knowledge yes it shoud be the same

This young man failed to explain how to check the chain tension, and how to adjust if need be.
You failed to read what the title of the video was
