Take the lid back off and get your 9/16 and take the nuts off inside then list the perforated basket up and turn it so the seam is toward your truck and bolt back down, that seam looks terrible out there… also maybe use some weatherproof connectors while u are at it. Then you got something that looks good and will last 👌
In Texas, red lights facing forward, even chicken lights, is a big $ ticket. Amber or white only facing forward. I suspect it is the same on the east coast.
No one cares anymore, guys are running purple, blue, red etc. I run all green marker lights and I don't have issues, even going through the Truckee scales on Donner. If I do have an issue it's a stupid non moving violation... scary.
Wow I absolutely love it Looks totally amazing I just pray that all the cops or vehicle inspectors aren't horrible mean A Holes and pick on you for the red light been seen at the front. I had blue Parker lights in the head lights and got told to take them out by the the useless cops here Victoria Australia We can't have no blue and or red light in the front and I think having blue light on the back is not good also Because they are emergency vehicle colours.
No one cares, guys are running purple, blue, green etc, all my marker lights are dual revolution green /amber and I run at night with green only. Never have issues, if I do it's a piddly ass ticket
The W900 is really coming along more an more, looking AWESOME Justin 👍💯... An also enjoyed chatting with you on Trucking with Schmidt's livestream this evening, I know we all did, Kurt definitely gotta kick out of it. These are the reasons why we ❤ watching you guys on the Ole TH-cam Justin so keep doing what you're doing 👏👌👍!!!
Look at all the nanny boys in the comments, get a clue... they can't flash, that's it. I run all green marker lights, and underglow, no issues not even during dot inspection
Some jazzy laws over there, Justin - allowing red lights showing to the front. That is a ticket waiting to happen here in the UK, and it will, super quick.
Ya. But there isn't express wording prohibiting forward facing blue, green purple etc. There is for red. Cannot be viewed from the front of the vehicle in many states. I'd pick amber or the other colors but avoid red and blue for peace of mind
Those lights look sweet hopefully you don't have any legal issues with them being red and facing forward. Another idea you could do switch them out for the amber color and wire them into your turn signals. Now all that thing needs is some underglow and it'll be set
Best not run thru Massachusetts with those Forward Facing Red Lights. Big No-No in these parts. Also, I believe it's called "Friction Tape" like for hockey sticks.
I roll through Massachusetts routinely on my way to Maine, all green marker lights, never an issue. If I do get stopped, I flip the switch and they are amber, and I get a big scary non moving violation... oh the horror
Are you allowed red lights forward facing? It looks great. I just no some states don't allow any red or blue on the front of vehicles so that they don't appear first responders. As EMS is Red and Amber.
Looks like the lights would be to bright to run at night unless you have a dimmer switch to turn them down. A nice ride lot of difference than the Volvo the both have their advantages one good for the road and one for parking. Keep up your great videos In joy them. I don’t know but three other drivers as good as you on paper work.up keep on your truck. Great job 👍
Funny how many people are worried you can't have red lights....they are not "forward facing" they shine from inside. I've had my red lights in the air cleaners and under the cab for years and never once ticketed or even said anything to about it even when I got a DOT inspection in a Kentucky scale house, they officer just complimented me on how he thought it looked good
When you go too change the air filters you will need to undo that bottom bracket that holds the mirror and loosen it where it connects to the cab so it can be moved around otherwise the air filter won't have enough clearance to come out
Damn... you went offline over the weekend for an extended time and it appears you're trying to make up for it all in one day....Keep the tires on the road... seeing a ton of accidents recently (though I'm in Phoenix, been seeing them in your vids too), don't want to see you getting sucked into one.
they look good Justin , But law enforcement they might not like it being red , Over here in the Northwest they would not like it for sure, Because they're a bunch of cry baby DOT's
I would like to have seen you show us how you tapped into the power source I have a 2016 T800 logger I want to put red lights into my box
Good idea to make those lights quick disconnect to get your air filter out?.

@@JohnHallgren Yes, OK if parked, and not on a roadway.
He's above the law🤔🤔.......

Do you know how to wire them to thr turn signal? Im looking into getting the Amber set
Nice
WOW OH WOW MAN LOOKS GREAT!

Because they are emergency vehicle colours.
That's the same law in the USA too since they are Federally & Internationally reconized Emergency Lights.
@@darklordchris I had a feeling that would be the case

I'd love to see you throw a 20" bumper on her with a drop visor painted white....then air bag the front end. She's already a sweet ride. 👍

You might want to check and see if red lights facing forward are legal.
I have red light in my airbreathers I never had no problem with dot.

It's illegal here too. Maybe they don't enforce it.
The UK is a nanny state, guys are running purple, blue, green etc and no issues.

Nice but you may get a ticket because red light can only be seen from behind. And yellow is from side or front if you use going down the road
😂 don't worry about it
In some states you have a problem with front facing red lights

@@TheRoadhammer379 yes ypu will have issues in some states as i did i pull in a dot scale and they told me that was not allowed

The t800 have a hinge to swivel the air canister out from under the mirror after you remove the 90 rubber boot
That will make truck easier for you find. P.s Trunk is Beautiful.

Red facing forward legal?

W900 looking good 👍🏻
Chicken lights and chrome. The story begins
Definitely looking sweet
Love the look of the W900.
Looks good
Where are the headlight bezel lights hooked up to Justin? Thinking about a set for mine.
Looking awesome 😎 the lights!!!!!!
Good video
A lot of scary truck drivers on this video... if you're scared dont do it! Dont keep repeating the same thing over and over!
lookin good....stay safe driver
Is the tape strong enough to hold or did you use any glue??
Lights look good but for everyone you have out you can get a ticket a whole lot of up keep for no reason
Bullshit, read the statute... only federal DOT mandated lighting must be operable. Get a DOT regulations handbook and educate yourself
You might get pulled in for the red on the front side of your truck
When you go too change the air filters you will need to undo that bottom bracket that holds the mirror and loosen it where it connects to the cab so it can be moved around otherwise the air filter won't have enough clearance to come out

Like I always said you can spot a owner operator a mile away by the glow. Lol
Are you going to do the under the sleeper panel and lights?
More lights to confuse oncoming traffic....
Looks good. Very cool Justin. tdubs got ya dialed in
Bunch of repetitive parrots in the comments, "red is illegal"... only if it flashes or strobes. Worry about your own shit.
Sweet addition! Are you going to do under glow lights as well?
I am trying to find info on underglow. What colours are legal for underglow?
CHICKEN LIGHTS ON THE BUMPER.....!!!!!!!
Talk about too much money sshhh
✌️👍
