Really well put together! Kinda sad to see so many people here being down on EZA though. They're doing things differently now, for sure, but I don't think one approach is necessarily better than the other. They try to be very inclusive, which lead to a much better, friendlier community. I also don't think their current content is less creative or funny, quite the opposite actually. The trial of Kyle Bosman, hall of greats, the rap songs, the anniversary concerts, fiasconauts - I am constantly impressed by their output. I still think the old, rough GT was very funny too and I do miss Elyse. But there are enough cynical, mean spirited shows on TH-cam, so the jolly vibes of EZA are very welcome imho. L&R

When I first started watching Mandatory Update, honestly, I kinda hated it...but like some kind of parasite, it grew on me, and now whenever I rewatch them I'm always cracking up at the dumb jokes. Really miss the Ian/Elyse dynamic.
I feel the same way, hated the show at first but I checked back in because I found Elyse funny when she showed up in Final Bosman and it grew and grew to become one of my most loved parts of GT.
I became a fan of these fine folks when they were established as Easy Allies. Watching this, it's apparent that I missed a lot of good stuff from the GameTrailers days. Such a fun group of people.

If you want to see more stuff like this, let's get them that studio and eventually get them to all be full time again. More short form content, more bonus bits, more ridiculousness. And to all the 14 year old Pepe kids complaining about EZA being too "PC", you clearly don't watch much Fiasconaughts :-) Keep in mind this was a ridiculous comedy show with several writers (at least Ian, Elyse, and Kyle), don't expect the same kind of humor in their podcasts and betting specials, etc. I will definitely admit that I miss high energy, giddy, stubble faced Ian. God damn he was sexy.
It really pains me that so many people hated this show back then. I didn't watch it until EZA was around, but man some of the comments were really brutal.
