This week on The Reaction, royal author Tom Bower explains why he believes the dam of silence surrounding bullying allegations against Meghan Markle is about to break. It comes as former royal aide Samantha Cohen confirms for the first time that she was one of 10 staffers interviewed by Buckingham Palace during an investigation into the claims. The probe has been kept a secret allegedly to protect those involved, but Sarah Vine says it’s time for the Palace to publish the results.
Also on this week’s episode, why the police need to get tougher on Gaza war protests in the United Kingdom and the United States. Sarah says the demonstrations are ‘openly antisemitic’ and describes reports that Jewish pupils are unable to attend campus at Columbia University over safety fears as ‘chilling’. Andrew says police in London need to manage marches better after Jewish campaigner Gideon Falter was told by the Met Police he was antagonising protesters because he looked ‘openly Jewish’.
Sarah and Andrew also discuss the continuing damage caused by lockdown, why children and women have been worst affected and how the ongoing Covid Inquiry is missing the point. I think many Americans cannot forgive her either. For one,Im so embarrassed of her and felt the British people and royal family deserved so much better. The late Queen didnt deserve that at all.I thought it appalling for meaghan to stupidly treat lovely Queen E. and her husband as she did. I think they royal family should indeed simplyrelease any information on what this awful, malicious girl has done and let her deal with the fall out. Let harry see what the public thinks of it. If it causes trouble there, it will be doing him a favor, though I wish he had been more loyal to his family.

Poor Catherine had given birth 2 weeks before, was sleep-deprived, had the demands of 2 other children, and Charlotte's dress was not made to the measurements that Catherine had submitted. Was that a nasty trick by Meghan to make Charlotte look chubby and sloppy? Catherine gave Meghan those measurements to Meghan herself. I see no problem with the issue of trust for these former palace employees if they speak out. Bower says that future/present employers will no longer trust these employees with sensitive information. But if these new employers are conducting business above board and treating their employees well then the employees will have nothing with which employers cannot trust them with. Employees will not break trust if there is no reason to break trust. I say speak out - your present employers should have nothing to worry about if they themselves are not hiding anything.

Megan comes from film sets and the really treat the staff horribly. It's a climber thinking cruelty shows power. My friend came home with her spirit munched working on sets. Megans used to get away with playing queen.
I remember that about Covid and the school lockdowns. My daughter was becoming depressed bc we couldn’t go anywhere and she is extremely athletic. So she would be miserable on the couch. Luckily we live away from people and in the country so I put her baby brother in the stroller and forced her to walk outside with me. We would walk, jog, and she would practice her sprinting for 3 1/2 miles a day. My husband was an officer so he had to go to work and we would just walk and run everyday. I refused to let her give up track and now she’s amazing.
But I don’t know how we would have done it if we lived in the city. She would be a completely different child.

The people that own the stories of bullying allegations might not want their accusations made public for their fear of own reputations. They don’t want to be called whistleblowers. Future employers might not like the revealing of such info.

So much has happened and is generally known and accepted about those two that the report would be literal conformation. They would be acknowledged as victims in this situation and vindicated.
