This is why it's important to understand the overall landscape of cybersecurity. Almost every single company has been hit by major cyber attacks recently, including Microsoft.
Do you have a video on 800 and 1.6g optical transceivers in data centers? I know Marvell makes some of these. Are there more companies in this niche in the data center market? Seems to be experiencing a surge in use with these new chips requiring immense networking speed.
@@chipstockinvestor I'm reading on this stock POET technologies. At first I didn't understand what they were doing as they seemed like a fake company. The more I read on these networking technologies, POET is not competing against Marvell or Broadcom. It wants to sell to these companies. It is competing against Innolight, E-Optolink and possibly Coherent who sell a particular component for these 800 and 1.6g switches. A part within a part within a part. No wonder you love researching chips. So many companies producing all these parts on all these chips and networking devices and such.
10x ARR. Oooogh. That’s expensive. Better hope this thing grows quickly and they don’t have a slip up in integrating the product. Guidance of 120 non gaap fcf pre acquisition. Let’s say t bravo ran venafi at 10% margin. That would add 15 and bring it up to 135 which would still value this at fwd fcf of just under 100. Seems a lot more expensive than an Okta trading at 30x non gaap fcf. What am I missing. Couldn’t any cyber company have a similar slip up with an outside vendor like okta did. I don’t really follow either company but I’d imagine oktas growth rate has largely slowed because I think it’s largely a per seat model that’s been affected by the wave of opex and headcount rationalization
For sure, this story will center on the newly merged company's ability to ramp up FCF. If that happens, we wouldn't pay too much attention to the P/S metric. Ideally, this should be a 20%+ FCF margin business.
You create your own luck. When preparation and opportunity meet, you get very lucky. Nic and Kasey are killing it and deserve all the success they have earned. This channel will hit a million subscribers before this bull market ends, and I'm here for it. See you then!!
We did get lucky. But we aren't gamblers. We saw an investment situation developing in 2022, created this channel, and put our money where our mouths were. If that's luck, fine, we'll take it.

Now I'm in SENTINELONE. Observed it for one year after I've originally sold my position and for the current price, it feels totally right.
crwd hands down winner
Happy Tuesday, CSI😊 Perhaps you could mention CRWD being added to SPX and some related information when touching on this ticker again.🎉

The main competitor for Marvell in optical transceivers would be Broadcom. Earnings on deck this week. Lots of potential for both companies!
