    Looks good. You have to make things work for you, and the easier the better. I know I struggle every time I try and mount my rototiller and need to come up with a stand or something. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Mike.

      I have a 3 point tiller also. My uncle found it. We replaced all the tines and used it one year. LOL I'm not the green thumb. I highly recommend the SpeeCo quick hitch sold by @GoodWorksTractors. Here is his video: th-cam.com/video/y-Wocv8o2nM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vzCXcN4UOlmW9gfz about his quick hitch. It's the one I use and recommend. His video explains why. He also sells weight brackets for his quick hitch that allows for additional ballast and implement down force. Maybe I should do a video. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Hello Bob, we use ours to shape up our gravel Rds🪵🇺🇸

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I do occasionally. But, since I got my land plain and it is quick hitch compatible, the rake doesn't get used for that job any longer. And the land plain does a better job in my opinion. If I had a steep drive like you all, I would have a box blade to carry the material better. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Much easier and quicker than using a hand rake 👍🏻. Have a great evening Bob 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♂️🙂

      It is faster, but it is better suited for rocks and the like. However, I do like it for spring cleanup and now I found another use for it in the wood yard. It's not really designed for use in a lawn, but it works for doing my back lot where a lot of branches fall in the winter and early spring. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Great job with the rake ,it should come with some kind of kick stand

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree, it should include a kickstand. So, it pays to do your research and know what you want. I think Land Pride, Kubota's implement brand, sell pretty good stuff. The problem with TH-camrs endorsements are they say what the company want them to say. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    that rake works good but I wonder why they don't put down pressure on the 3 pt. hitch,, my little Mitsubishi doesn't have it and some things don't work well that way

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I agree Vern. I think the reason for the lack of down pressure is because it was designed for farm work. This is just my assumption, but most farm implements are very heavy and gravity keeps the implement in contact with the earth. Also, it might have something to do with keeping you from damaging your machine. I understand your desire for more down force, especially with using a rear blade. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Good evening Bob, every time I see a landscape rake in action I think to myself I need one of those. Thanks for sharing!

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it's not the first implement I would recommend. But, it is the first one I bought. If you have a steep driveway, I would say buy a box blade. A flat drive calls for a land plain. A rake can work for both, but it doesn't offer the control that the other two offer for moving material. Also, the rake is not for a well manicured lawn. It's really designed for pulling rocks out of top soil to prep for seed. I think it would work good for dressing up a gravel parking lot also. Of course, this is just my opinion. A lot of our choices are made due to the budget. But, what ever you do, don't buy any implements that are NOT quick hitch compatible. Spend a little more, you wont regret it. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    How's she goin'? The landscape rake is a nice attachment eh. I was surprised at how often I use mine and all that it can do. It can make a silk purse form a sow's ear!! Nice job cleaning up this area. Take 'er easy!!

    • @botabob
      @botabob  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I like the landscape rake also, except it is not quick hitch compatible and does not have a kick stand. Otherwise, I agree, it's a very handy tool. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the journey - cheers

    You made quick work of the clean up Bob. A very handy tool. Have a great weekend 👍

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think it took longer to edit the video then to do the clean up. LOL - You know what I am talking about. As I watched my video, I was thinking to myself; "I should have removed the T-posts in the middle of the wood yard. I was cleaning up all the punky wood and bark. I had a pretty big pile of wood that I burned in the wood yard fire ring. No big deal. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    I am surprised that you can operate the tractor out of the seat.

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well, this video is for entertainment purposes only. The BX has an in seat interlock and this is not what most BX owners understand. It's not a mod that I will be sharing with the TH-cam community. It's a modification that comes with risk. The mod comes in handy when I change out my loader implements and connect my landscape rake. Without the mod, the engine would have shut down. I hope you don't think less of me. I can be my own worst enemy. Generally, I work alone in my wood yard or felling trees. But when I work with others and I have a saw in my hand I tell them to stay clear of me and my saw. I would hate to accidentally cut anyone with my power saw. The last person told me they would be on their porch. LOL. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    The rake does a good job with the debris.

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think so. It's more of a rock rake then a lawn rake. But, it works well for areas that are not manicured. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Hey there Bob, the rake worked to clean up the wood pretty well. You or I wouldn’t want to rake that by hand for sure. Bob I sent off an email to you. I was wondering if it went through? See you on the next one.

    • @botabob
      @botabob  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The rake works great for pulling rocks from top soil and dressing up a stone parking lot or driveway. It's not so good on the lawn. It's kinda like using a sledgehammer to do trim work. But, I do like to use it on my back lot to clean up branches after winter and early spring winds storms. It also works good in the wood yard after years of cutting and splitting. Most of the time I use my garden rake to clean up the area where I split the most. But, I had the log pile gone and thought it would be a good idea to do a clean up before my next load of firewood poles arrived.

      I like to use it in the spring to clean up all the branches that fall over the winter and early spring. I would use it more if it was quick hitch compatible. Make sure you buy implements that are quick hitch compatible. JMO - Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers
