Everybody is talking about Kimi no na wa and A Silent Voice, while we see this masterpiece that was overshadowed by others. It's one of the best movies out there. It's the only movie that made me cry as if I had lost a part of my soul that is important. Their relationship is hard to explain, they are more than friends yet they are less than lovers. They are just like shoes, they are good looking with each other yet they are not fit for the other. She is his wall, and he is her wall. They made their last moments the happiest despite knowing that one day, they will need to leave each other's heart. It's such a bother knowing that the ones you wanted to protect are the hardest ones to keep for yourself.
I understand on how "overhype" and how "overrated" kimi no nawa was. But koe no katachi is in another level. Koe no katachi still no.1 for me. But if I've to choose between kimi no nawa and this movie, I choose this one for sure. And also, koe no katachi was overshadowed by kimi no nawa too.

well if u notice the end credit scene..when he and kyoko visited her grave..theres actually haruki(spring tree) near her grave..n b4 he leaves the grave one sakura(cherry blossom) actually bloomed..ahh i cried again after that

People whine about this movie being a tearjerker and generic drama. Yet without any fantastical beings or unnaturally colored hair, this movie uses two human lives to communicate such a profound message. What a masterpiece.

its just like what she said in the movies tbh. Just bcuz other ppl got a healthy body unlike hers, doesn't mean that they will live longer than her. Everyday, each person had the same value of life, between the one that got an illness and the one that fully healthy, both are the same.
"I want to eat your pancreas" at first I thought this movie is about cannibalism but when I watch it. There is two meaning of the title which is she want to eat his pancreas because she want to live and he want to eat her pancreas because he want her soul to live in him

まあ原作が一番良いというのはあるが、やはり自分の好きな小説の登場人物が動いてるのを見るのは嬉しい。
実写は地上波で見たけど、改変とかはあったけどそれは改悪ではなかったし、実写は実写でよくできてたと思う。
アニメにはアニメの良さがある。原作に沿ったストーリーだと思うし。
アニメでしか表現できないこともあるし、実写にしかできない表現もある。些細な表情の変化においては実写が勝るだろうけど、アニメは直接訴える力が実写より強いと個人的には思ってる。（多分俳優とかじゃなく、キャラクターそのものとして受け取ることができるから…？）
まあなんにしろ、アニメ見た後に原作読み返すのは楽しいからね、文字からより鮮明に表情とか声色とか読み取れるようになるから。

今日金曜ロードショー劇場版アニメ「君の膵臓をたべたい」を見させていただきました。
もともと本を持っていて、いつか劇場版を見ようと思っておりました。
本でも泣き、実写でも泣き、そして今回も泣きました。
ラストの墓参りの時にあった桜の花は「桜良」が「二人の様子を見に来た」のだと一人思いました。
最後にこの作品をつくった方々本当にありがとうございました。
自分ももう一度観たかったので嬉しかったです、所々端折ってありました。完全版を是非ご覧になってください。細部まで原作に寄せてありますよ。映画館で観た時は圧巻でした。

its just like what she said in the movies tbh. Just bcuz other ppl got a healthy body unlike hers, doesn't mean that they will live longer than her. Everyday, each person had the same value of life, between the one that got an illness and the one that fully healthy, both are the same.

at first I thought this movie is about cannibalism but when I watch it. There is two meaning of the title which is she want to eat his pancreas because she want to live and he want to eat her pancreas because he want her soul to live in him
I feel like him eating her pancreas is more like him taking away what’s killing her.
Its actually a proverb and it means that Haruki was even ready to be the part of sakura even if it was the smallest part of her. He knew that she would die but he wanted to be her part even if it was her smallest part
Probably the most underrated anime movies out there.

I saw this on manga sites but i got seriously weirded out by the picture so I ignored it but this looks promising.
最初病気のヒロインが主人公の膵臓、病気治したいから食べたい冗談で言う話かんなー思ったけど、全然違った。最後の日記のとこ不覚にもボロ泣きした。
観てない人は観て絶対損はしないとお勧め出来る作品珍しい。兎に角良かった(T-T)

僕は全て4つとも感動しましたがどれも「どんな人にも必ず明日があるとは限らない、保証される命などないんだ」って教えられた気がして初めて読んだ小説が君の膵臓をたべたいだったからこそあの日から明日じゃなくてもできることは今すぐに行動に移すようにしてる。

Man, when he is at her parents home and finish to read the diary and then start crying, I legit felt sooo bad. Never before a film made me feel like that, the acting tho. I cried like a bitch.
