I'd like to see you take this one step further. Imagine you have a list of dates, all in the same month but different days and years. A list of employees with hire dates would be a good example. I'd like to know how to sort for the day of the month so I could easily whose hire "day anniversary" is coming up next.
Hi, I have a problem. sort oldest to newest isn't an option. It just says sort "A to Z" or "Z to A". How do I get it to show me the option "oldest to newest"? Thanks in advance

@@sabaw_na_si_j4meZnOLiMitZZZ Your data entries need to be in the form which Excel recognises as a date e.g. 10 Feb 2020 needs to be inputted as 10/02/20. If you input as e.g. 10.02.20 Excel will think that this is text not a date. There is probably a more sophisticated fix.

How can I automate this so if I were to add a couple new rows at the bottom it will automatically sort by my chosen column? Or do I have to repeat the process manually?

Yeah, same. I can't figure out how to sort dates either.
Can't figure out how to sort Dates. The only option are "A to Z" which only sorts by the first date numbers e.g 6/17/2022 but not by year 6/16/2023.

I figured out I had to remove "AM & PM" from the dates and it allowed me to see "oldest to newest"

@@Arthur-ow2mm Once formatted correctly for dates, there is still no option to filter "oldest to newest" only A to Z, or vice versa.
