Nothing about the video but the price mentioned in the title (Morning Breakfast only Rs. 10) is not appropriate. You will only get a single piece of kachuri in 10 rupees. You will not get any of the item more than 1 piece in that price. So please be accurate with your title. It seems to be miss leading

What exactly is the Bengal cuisine being shown here? Samosa? Borrowed. Puri-Subji? Borrowed. Puchka? Borrowed. Rossogulla? Stolen from Utkal! Waste Bengal is a border state. Is it really that peaceful and goody-goody? Have you or any other food blogger ever ventured into the areas outside of Kolkata? Near the border? Where the routine chit-chatter is disturbed 5 times a day by an asinine blasting voice?
Sarcastic ,for ur information samosa came from persia ( iran) it is made with minced meat & still served at parsi restaurants at mumbai, pune. North indians modified it with a potato filling, so it has a very swollen look unlike the irani samosa which is slightly swollen, the construction of the outer layer is different & looks like a triangle. The samosas made in parts of bihar are called singara. In west bengal they call it singada. The confectioneries like Ganguram add peanuts & fry it in ghee. The local guys usually put potato some even add cauliflower. Puri aloo is nothing great bongs call it loochi. Puchka is sold by the up, bihar, mp guys at kolkata.It is also called panipuri in mumbai & golgapas in Delhi.No one knows who invented it . Rosso Golla is not stolen from Odisha. It was made by nalin chander das , the father of K. C. Das. The matter has been settled in court with a 1st patent for W. B rossagolla now even odisha got patent for their version. Even the south indians are fighting ( karnataka & T. N) with regard to who invented the masala dosa, idli, medu vada. Their is nothing great to have this petty animosity with regard to food. Just eat & enjoy.

The very fact that Odisha govt too got a GI tag for Rasagulla only underlines the truth in their claim. 2. While the unpleasant facts in my comment above were for the vlogger's perusal, my larger intention was to point out the fact that hardly any Bengali food was showcased in his video. This does not mean Bengal has no food culture of its own. And no where does my comment say so.
@@xhloro O. K ,that just reminded me of the Dahi bhalla in Delhi, Dahi bara in Orissa. Thyr (curd)vada of the south. I have eaten the Delhi one with nice spices & but the Southern version was lightly spiced. I dont know who invented it.
