That change actually is very interesting. But in fact, Bossfight was a band in 2012 when "Be Gone Mr. Gawne", "The Maze Of Mayonnaise" and many other amazing chiptune/bitpop songs came out. The band broke up in 2016 and Bossfight continued making music using different styles than earlier. I think "Elevatia" is the first song from "new Bossfight".

Wow, this bass is so unusual! Those growls in the drop almost kind of feel like they’re some sort of alien creature talking... like one of the monsters in the cover art.
I really want a video game based around him, just use bossfight as the main character and you upgrade your costume during the game, like all the multiple variations we see in his songs, this would be the final armor, and you fight lots of bosses, and at the end you gotta fight a clone of bossfight, with the music included ofc, would be awesome
