The home team of Gandaki province has won the gold medal for men in the 9th National Games in handball.
This is the first gold won by the hosts in the tournament officially inaugurated on Saturday.
Gandaki won the gold medal by defeating the divisional team Tribhuvan Army Club 43-36. At the end of the match when the competition was tough, Gandaki won by scoring consecutive points.
