“Allahuma Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa Anta, khalaqtani wa ana ‘abduka, wa ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abu'u laka bini'matika ‘alayya, wa abu'u laka bidhanbi faghfir li, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa Anta.”
(O Allah! You are my Lord. There is no god except You. You have created me, I am Your slave, I hold to Your Covenant as far as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon me and I confess my sins. Pardon me, for none but You has the power to pardon).

2: 249. *When Twaloot set forth with the armies, he said: “Indeed, Lord Allah will test you with a river, then anyone drinks from it, then he will not be with me; while anyone who doesn’t taste he is with me, except the one who scoops up only a palm-full in his hand”, yet they all drank from it except a few among them. When he and those who believed with him crossed over, they said: “We have no strength today to encounter Jalooth (Goliath) and his army”! Those who were thinking that indeed they will meet Allah said: “How many small troops have vanquished great troops with Allah’s Permission? And Allah is with those who are having patience”.*
The Twaloot and army had to cross the Jordan river to fight Goliath and his army. Twaloot warned his army about the trial of the Lord that nobody should drink from the river even if they are very thirsty on that hot day. After crossing the river, most of those who drank said that they had no strength to face Goliath’s army. So Lord consoled the few believers who obeyed Lord and Twaloot in that trial: “How many of small troops have vanquished great troops with Allah’s Permission? And Allah is with those who are having patience”. Similar events took place during Messenger Muhammad’s time also. It is asked through verses 29: 2-4: “Do mankind reckon that they will be left free without being tested by saying: "We believe"? And surely We have tested those before them, and Lord Allah will surely know those who are truthful and who are liars. Or do those who do evil deeds reckon that they can pass Us? What an evil judgment they are taking”.
Today, as Adhikr is codified as the Splendid Book, whoever holdfasts It, he did holdfast Lord and is guided into the Straightpath. Verse 8: 66 also ends as: “And Allah is with those who are having patience”. See explanation 2: 134 and 155-157.

Can someone please clarify the case of how Dawud AS lived for a 100 year and originally 60 year and how the sheikh refer to the story of Adam AS?
When all the children of Adam(as) was presented to him at the begining of creation,he gave 60 years of his own life to Dawud(as) so Dawud's life was extended by 60 years.perhaps he was supposed to live for 40 years and with this extension he lived 100 years.

Adam (AS) gave 40 years to Dawud (AS) brother. Prophet Dawud died at the age of 100 but was supposed to die at 60 if he wasn’t gifted life by the will of Allah.

Assalamu walaikum varahmathulhi vabarakathahu.. I have a doubt... At 35:58 it has been said that dawood's wife saw angel of death... But I have studied that only prophets are allowed to see angels.. Since our Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) told I hear what you can't hear... I see what you can't see during his night journey (isra ul miraj)... Can prophets wife can see angels????... Correct me if I am wrong Pls!
2 years late but aren't angels able to come in human form ? Like when Muhammad sallalahu alaihi wassalam got questioned by Jibreel Alaihi salam and the companions saw him but in human form. Allahu A3lam.
