Me too, they look so good when you execute them well. RGB can work with white, but more often than not it turns all of the white into a colour so kinda spoils it haha
The amount of air that pours out the top of that case before it even reaches the top exhaust is surprising. It really demonstrates the power of positive pressure and how effectively this case breathes.
I totally agree. If you would to put another top exhaust fan, some of the front intake fresh air would have been redirected to the top so CPU would not get all of it. It would be OK for 2 top exhausts only if you use AIO, but AIO all around sucks.
I've watched few of your videos, these builds are so clean and truly airflow focused. I have the same case and the fact that you only installed a single 120mm fan right above air cooler is very well thought. I see a lot people making the mistake installing 2 fans above their air cooler and that is no no, Its OK if you running AIO, but with air cooler some of the front fresh air gets drawing to the top exhaust so your air cooler is not getting the full air flow as it should.
Glad to see you not filling the top with exhaust fans, I feel like a lot of people end up sucking out all the cool front intake air before it gets to the CPU cooler.
@@cat-.-I would suppose you might want to try that to encourage air to the rear half of the case and the CPU cooler. But whether it makes any tangible diff to CPU temps you'd have to actually/physically test out. But as the case is effectively totally perforated and the desire is to get the warm air out (and replaced by fresh cooler air) it hardly seems worth the effort. But try it and let us know maybe.....

Absolutely agree. I have the same case, but black and I just removed one of the NF-A12x25 PWM fans that was before CPU closer to front intake exhausting up at least 20% of fresh air, just doing that I gained 2C on my NH-U12A chromax.

Nice set up. I just moved my 5700x with a 3060ti from a Raijintex Ophion M into a black o11 air mini and I love it. Less noise and better airflow and the cable management was clean and easy. Your other o11 vid was the reson I chose the Air Mini. 👍

I really love this case. it took me long time to find one in stock in white and bought it. best airflow case ever made. I even installed 3x 360 fans on top and bottom ( yeah they fit ). I have a 4090 FE in that case and it closes perfectly fine with no issues ( ATX 3.0 PSU ) Cool Video though. I love your content man. keep up the good work.
i seriously love that air cooler, i just recently bought it and it's perfect. it's quiet, gorgeous and is very high performance; better than a lot of aios tbh
I have a white one of these cases also but haven't gone for the overly aesthetic white build as mine is off the floor and desk in a vented cup'd. This really is by far nicest case I've ever had due to its clean modular looks/assembly AND mostly its compact size having the PSU, drive trays, cabling out the back. But I must say I'm envious as that's one good/clean looking build. ❤ Tho stuffing all your spare cable length in the empty drive bays helped you a lot. Slightly surprised you didn't go the whole way and install a white PSU also.......just because you could.

Great build. When showing airflow visualisation, can you also direct the smoke to passively vented areas (open areas of case without fans) to make sure they are not pulling air in? I think it's an important aspect of having a positive airflow that the passive vents always eject air and not take air inside. Cheers!
The white treatment on the heatpipes of the deep cool CPU HSF is unique. Thanks for showing this to us - I don't recall having seen that before (as opposed to many examples of black). Oh, just saw how the motherboard tray is setup ... NEVER seen that. Thanks for showing this case.
I like the white, I'm fed up with the old black box, and I like the compact cube size too but it's all a but rich for my blood. Christ the price of the GPU alone is more than I would want to spend on the whole system, including a monitor.

Personally i'm a fan of a minimalistic/clean rgb fan setup. Using like nzxt f120/140 fans or Lian li AL120 fans, with the rgb light turned down to like 50%, in a static white or blue color, with some non rgb but sleeved psu extension cables, to match the color theme to the rest of the system.
Pity you can only give one like, beautiful build. Went with the air mini after seeing you previous build the case is a joy to work with. Couldn't see on the vid but i was wondering where you routed the cables from the front 140's?
Great video Matt! Personally I don't like massive footprint cases like the Lian Li O11 as they take up too much room on the desk, I prefer a mid tower ATX but I do see how good this looks so see why people do buy these cases, each to their own.
Thanks so much! Yes for sure, although putting it under stress wouldn’t change anything. The GPU and Fan curve were set at relative speeds to match that of being under stress. The airflow visuals will be stepping up a notch in the coming weeks too 😁
@Mr_Matt Lee i would suggest to move the 1st cpu fan to the back of the cooler, this way it doesnt look cramped inside, also leaves beautiful rgb RAM on spot. P.S if the exhaust fan at the back is getting in the way you can just remove it... it will not affect temperatures at all...i've tried by myself with Be Quiet Dark rock 3 pro.

Have build 30+ Gaming machines and this is hands down the best build I have ever seen. A lot better then those RGB flashy types of builds.

This is exactly the best fan configuration for air cooling build in 011 Air Mini. Also, It only need 1 top exhaust fan above the CPU cooler.

Agreed. Always better to have more IN's than OUT's air sources to positive pressure the case. 4 IN + 2 OUT here

You don't need the top fan, and also che rear one. Try to remove ita and you will make some basic stuff. Stilo top many fans inside.
