A good starter option is speed, Chavez and frasier. They work best in conventional/boxerpuncher roles which are definitely best to start as, they both fight steady with a mix of single punches and small combos to really chip away at opponents but dont have that brute strength insiders and brawlers have, bit do alot better against counter punchers than those two.
@@wori_ishim Ali punches is probably the single worst punch set you can equip, sure you can make it work but if you want that "ali" playstyle I find it's better to use the foreman, pacquiao, haye, speed or even Klitschko punch sets. Each has far more reliable jabs n straights with my personal fav being foreman and Pacquiao, but I find Pacquiao lunging body hooks to be bad and the foreman set has really tricky uppercuts 2 head but they hit hard as well. I feel like unconventional style is the best for a true ali build but you're gonna be squishier than if you stuck with outside fighter. The benefits are few but unconventional has great head movement, speed,decent strength and fights well anywhere the ring as long as you dish more than you take. It's most useful for low and mid level OWC because a 84 unconventional will have better stats than a 84 brawler or 84 inside fighter. As long as you run gold toughness, avoid lots of body shots, practice head movement and footing you'll have a build that can fight anybody, play defensive against brawlers with counterpunches or play super aggressive against outside fighters and chip them away with body powershots. Biggest threat is conventional or but they are rare, if you do fight one try and secure the stam advantage early or go for KO, otherwise a good conventional fighter will outlast you with very similar stats. Inside fighters are hard as well because they'll always outpunch you and last as long but tend to have glass chins. Hope this helps but lemmie know if you were wondering something else.

Awesome video as always 💯, quick question i made a a charcuterie for legacy mode and i picked a brawler, and i found two punch styles to pick from which is power and speed, I don't know why but im leaning more towards power cause i like using the right stick and he has these punches that curves over which seems like he slips through the opponents guards, i also likthe speed too, which of those two would be your personal preference

I picked up the game late so idk how it was like in the EARLY stages i seen some forums say ali got HEAVY nerfed. Literally can't land anything unless you're fighting someone bad or you got the momentum

There is a bug with the Ali style that leads to punches not connecting. Idk what causes it, but someone told me to use Paquiao style if it happens cuz it is similar
DLC unique stances are unique to their characters. You can switch their stances to other stances but you can’t put theirs on someone else whether it be another fighter or a created character

I always pick Frazier's for my main CAB. Also, a missing note for Frazier's is his lead overhand, it's very fast.

Put ur combinations on 14-20 must have over 90 speed and me personally the left right hook combination on Jones is solid for a inside counter fighter
