If eva transforms into berserk mode when kiryu uses the absolute zero cannon, she can tank the whole attack and only lose 10 points of ascension, then the only thing she should do would be to try to get closer and she should win without many problems.
Edit: Ignore what I said it was just my assumption, after many tests I realized that even doing this, kiryu wins more than 60% of the time 💀💀

I really thought Kiryu wouldn’t be op and just be like it used to be king of range. I’m not wrong about the king of range but it seems the devs just can’t put out a kaiju anymore without it being extremely op and having it to be nerfed the same week it comes out :/

The MG21 vs Kiryu fight went about as well as I expect a real fight between them to go in the movies, lmao
A thing that i notice is that it cannot counter Dest or MZ That easily with the cases like Rodan before it. They have probably more damage per second with a quicker burst damage to outdamage kiryu even when they got hit with a solid AZC, missile or Maser beams.
I dont know what to recommend for it so it can stand against flyers lile MZ and Dest, but i'll leave it up to you guys to decide it.
It may be that his HP is the problem. Who knows.
That combo of spam ranged was what made grinding Eva easy for kiryu
I think the reason they do this is to test how powerful it is by watching people play them allowing them to determine whether it needs a buff, nerf or just be left as it is

ima say if kiryu will get a rebalance it will probably not be a major one since they removed like 50 levels from everybody, basicly in a way confirming kiryu became an endgame kaiju ofc some matchups it shouldn't win like ultima and stuff but if they would nerf it now to the ground it seems pretty unfair to remove 50 levels I would say buff its requirments to level 50 millenium gojira and level 75 gojira 1954, 100K gcells, and some slight damage nerfs.
Yeah it wouldn't be fair to have all my lvls gone in a day of grind to lvl 75.
There are players who can obtain a lot of kaijus right after their release, increasing requirements will barely do anything, rebalance is much better.
Kiryu is good at brawler fights in close and long range but due to him not able to ground flyers, they could overwhelm him
Hey col, just a suggestion; you should show the build (skill points) of the kaiju showcased on each of these "how powerful" vids. Im currently running max damage max health like the caveman i am.
With kiryu max hp is actually very good plus with max dmg is even better

im considering going 3 health since that already gives you over 4k health, plus some speed and a lot of regen so i can combo absolute zero canon and the big missiles

I think the alternate heavy range attacks need to put the light ones on cooldown so they cant be combo'd too fast. Or just make all his ranges really weak but really spammy so he plays simmilar to the movie, spamming nearly useless flashy rockets but good at melee.

Man, Kiryu can demolish EASILY a 5.3k health, long ranger spammer, and heavy tanker in just 3 attacks: AZC, The heavy long ranged missiles, and his original mazer beam

The missiles could use the system cherno does and which is there’s a certain amount of them before you need to kill someone to get them back

they should make Kiryu's beam like Ultimas 4th move where ultima has to bring his (something) meter up before using it
He already has a range mode that buffs your damage. And plus, taking away 50 lvls and then nerfing the Kaiju like that would make it unfair. I really don't know how their Ganna nerf this thing but it can't be too devastating or to little.
How to use kiryu like a pro:
Spam zero cannon and other long range attacks.
How about this?
Kiryu has a vBar that is called “battery” its like charge but for beams and when you use the heavy beam or use the heavy missiles it takes 50% each but regen would lower this to 30% max and for the light beams and missiles its 30% and lowers to 15% max it has 100 battery and at full battery it does 100% lowering the battery lowers the damage making beam CHAINS less powerful but still an option also when your at 0% or near you get slowed and weakend for a bit then kiryus secret panel would have a fifth ability to use “battery refuel” it just gives you +70% but at the cost of 10% HP and 30 charge
Is that balanced?
Honestly I think that Kiryu needs a slight nerf on the beam attacks because those literally just give you the upperhand in any fight and it doesn’t rlly matter who you’re fighting (unless its like a dest or something above that, or gabara stun funni)

I found kiryu to be the only kaiju I can use to beat eva. At level 50, im beam comboing evas and destroying them with melee combos. The evas were level 75.
Most evas aren’t that skilled with it. A TH-camr with eva was super bad with it and had lvl 100+
@bentleywarren4860 This was a friend of mine who I knew was skilled. That being said, the other evas were equal or better than him. I also fought a max eva and nearly killed it, but it went beserk.

Too fix any long range spam problem kiryu has, make it so that when he uses a beam attack the other beam attack on the other mode is disabled until one of them reacharge. Same for the missiles. That would be a simple yet effective balance. Maybe also make it so that the cooldown is shorter when using the double maser cannon but a lot longer when using the absolute zero cannon and still disables both beams when using one as well.
Kinda ironic that kiryu doesn’t even have to move for his own Godzilla 🗿

Terrible idea. You want the beam spam to change, then complain about burning godzilla too. You can't complain about anything now because there's honestly nothing wrong with MFS. It's very balanced. +, the beam recharge takes forever
Not good. The last kiryu was able to RUN and use absolute zero canon then beams right after. Be greatful that you only have to find cover because type 3 can't move while doing his absolute zero canon.

He's kind of op, before i was lvl 14 on him and could 2 shot a lvl 50 rodan with chest beam and missiles.
I feel like the prometeo studio devs are not knowing how to make good use of the word "balance"
I feel this is a bit unfair, from the Godzilla 2021 fight, kiryu runs, they can’t catch up and kiryu attacks because of it’s broken range

What the hell was that eva doing LMFAO. Why didnt he try to dodge the AZC with his Attack3 on spear at the beginning? Or use knife mode's resistance to decrease the damage? Or use any dash move on both modes to get behind cover?
In a real fight EVA would shit on kiryu cuz of how Eva moves while using attacks
I agree, I have shredded multiple kiryus at once, including higher levels than my Eva and still won.
Kiryus are easy to beat once you close in, personally I would’ve just ranged the kiryu before closing in on it.
So I have a question. I was at level 100 for Kiryu before the remodel and then after the remodel it bumped me down to level 50. Does anyone know why?
the levels reset when the remodeled kaiju is above level 50 (pretty sure it goes down to 0 if its below 50) when a kaiju gets remodeled

Kiryu kinda needs a damage nerf like its damage and fast run speed is too much for most land kaijus
The outcome would be alot more diffrent if kong dint parry the master beam and instead dint use it and parried the absolute zero cannon instead
The KU devs gotta get their shit straight when it comes to balancing kaijus when they release cuz its been WILD these past few updates
might be a strategy. It gets the community talking and probably happier than if it released as an average balanced kaiju. Balancing it a few days-weeks later would cause less commotion than it coming out as an eh kaiju

Kiryu is the goat
A simple way to Fix the beams: Insane Fall off. If a kaiju is tokyo's bridge distance away then the fall will start and it is HEAVY. From like 3K to 1K damage. Unless against flyers. because they'll always be far away

I'm noticing the issue is the Kaijus being used. I can easily kill these things with lobster, mantis, spider, dragonfly, moth, gigan, and titan moth. Your all just used to using the endgame stuff like dest 2021 mech and what not. which is fine.
I think they should also increase the requirement for type 3 and make it 75 g54 and 60 millennium as kiryu type 3 is better than type 2
