If you watch too much of these channels, you may think the world is ending today or tomorrow.
There is a lot of hype surrounding the subject but that doesn't mean we aren't closer to world annihilation. Humanity is more belligerent and hateful over loving and caring.

Not really we are warned of these things ahead of time. There are many middle east areas the bible speaks of punishment towards near the end of time for their treatment of Israel. Isaiah 10 thru chapter 17 has a whole series of middle east nations punished for evil deeds towards Israel.
