TroutRoutes Masterclass: Everything you need to know about Map Layers

There's a time and use-case for each of our Map Modes and it's always easy to choose how you want to view an area using our different Base Layers. Matt led the class as we discussed the in's and out's of Map Layers and checked out our latest update that brought some major changes to the base map itself. Christohper's idea about coloring private water, maybe to black would be great, when you look at map, those places are off limits, I like it and put that private color on Map Legend for private water.

Oh, joy, another update that android won't get. What is it now about 4 updates behind?

Hey Eric, as mentioned in the class, with our acquisition by onX we are now able to start building out a deeper team that will allow us to focus on bringing these updates to web and Android so fear not, it's coming!

@troutroutes I hope so. I love the app, but it's frustrating to see Apple get all the updates and Android gets left out. We pay for the service too.

@@erichineman7916 Eric, well said. Both Apple and Android pay for the pro service. BUT the two groups get a different level of service. I hope getting this fixed is a high priority.

@@erichineman7916 I am frugal, but I was somewhat entertaining the idea of purchasing a subscription. With this information, I will most definitely not be. This way of treating paying customers is totally unacceptable.
