No memes, no immature bullshit, just good friends, good hang outs.. ahh early 2000's to around 2006 good times man! actually do feel like having a tear sometimes haha, things change so much =/
No it wasn't a thing, it was something completely different. Not the extent that it is today. The new generation literally killed the way the world works.
So sad album and tours this year will be the last. Hadn’t a chance to come to any :( My favorite band, hope their music truly will live forever even for younger generation. Gotta re-listen “Underclass Hero” album over and over in wait for the new album… As I remember, I saw in interview last year it will be 2 part album, right?
+Str1000ac No one cares you about your opinion insignificant human what a buzzkill you are and Sum 41 is more than pop punk they are alternative rock, nu metal and melodic punk/hardcore, pop punk is more like Green Day, Blink 182, Nickelback and so on. What you said was really not necessary to someone who is just expressing how much they enjoy the band and why were you on this video anyway you cant just stumble upon it by accident.
luuk klein Ok so they are alternative rock then pop punk isn't a specific sound of rock anyway just like how every grunge band sounded completely different from one another so your opinion is subjective.
I love the way Deryck writes songs! The lyrics make SOO much sense and they have meaning and power to it on EVERY SONG! Besides blink 182 talks about girls on most of their songs. I love blink 182 but I always go with Sum 41!
They kinda do suck live. But i'll just go to see them in person. I saw Sum 41 live in atlanta in 2012, that was the show of my life and that I'll never forget. Did you see them live?
No, I've never seen both of them live XD But I wish I could see Sum 41. After watching Blink last performance on amnesia rock fest, I'm pretty sure it's not a good idea to watch their show haha Another band I wish to see live is Simple Plan, even with most people making jokes and hating on them I respect those guys :)
Diamond Eyes true. Blink 182 has a lot of songs about screwin around but they do have some that have meaning. But sum 41 does such a better job then blink when it comes to songs with meaning
I'm 31 and I saw Sum 41 in concert last night for the third time in my life, and for the last time. Yes, Sum 41 are stopping shows after this tour. I'm extremely sad because it's a band that means a lot to me and that rocked my teenage years, and I hope they'll be happy for the rest of their lives.
I got to see them for the first time... on their last tour. I couldn't help but tear up throughout the whole show. You guys are my childhood and I thank you for everything. I'm grateful I was able to at least experience your show. To see and hear the passion behind each song live.
I cannot believe this video doesn’t even have 20M views. It’s one of my favorite songs, definitely ahead of its time. Perfectly captures the reality of modern society.
This sonf remind me of my neighbor, he was a Barber whos got arrested because dealing drugs, I've been his customer for 6 years, never realized that he's a barber. Edit : I don't give a shit about the 1,2K likes
This song makes me think about all of my wrongdoings in high school; messing up girlfriend relationships, losing groups of friends, things I should have done, and things I shouldn't have done. But that was 7 years ago. Now I wish I can go back in time and tell myself to not make those stupid choices and don't want to grow up. This happen to any of you?
class of '12 here, bruh, so many regrets I have. I'm with you 100 percent, but... *There is no medicine for regrets.* Just have to move forward like time.
This song take me on a fucking nostalgia trip. I wish I could go back in time. So bad it hurts. I'd tell myself to live slow and never grow up. Enjoy the things I took for granted. Give a shit about things for once. And I'd tell my my sister not to go out that night. I'd tell her to stay home and read to me or watch tv with me or just stay up late with me, even. Maybe then she'd still be here with us. God, I miss her so much. This was one the songs we jammed to. Man, why'd I have to be such a stupid kid. RIP Sydney. I love and miss you so much.
I apologize for the late reply. I appreciate all the kind words. I really do. I sneaked out of the house one night when she was babysitting me. Parents were out on date and I just wanted to rebel and be different I guess. When she found out I left, she called dad to ask to use the car to look for me. Then she got into an accident. Head on collision with a drunk driver and she wasn't wearing a seat belt. They both died before help arrived. And the thing is, on my way back home, I saw that there were police and ambulances around but I avoided the scene of the accident. It wasn't until about an hour later police arrived at my home telling us the news.
I think Chuck is one of Sum 41's greatest albums, by far. For those who don't understand the video, I think its referring to soldiers trying to take over lives of ordinary people, abroad or otherwise and they're saying they can do it on their own without them. When they say "don't trust things will ever change" I think they're commenting on the fact it just seems to repeat over and over, this cycle of violence and opression. I think its a brilliant song personally. :)
The chorus is so catchy!!! I had this song stuck in my head for years probably from hearing it somewhere, and i only recently found out the song's name. Im so glad its a Sum 41 song!
Loving this song. Damn, those school times. Time passed so horribly quickly. Back then whole life was ahead, now it seems like it is all left somewhere back then. Sorry for my English. This band was really HUGE in Russia.
Любая зарубежная группа, какую ни послушай, дает позитив, оптимизм, хорошее настроение и положительные эмоции. Спасибо Sum41 за неустаревающие шедевры🎧🎶🎵💯👍
Whether it was 2004 or 2005, I can't remember exactly. I think it was probably 2005.
good luck brother. our capacity for hurt reveals nothing short of our capacity for love.. Don't let your big heart bring you down. its there for a reason.
As old I as I feel now, I won’t ever forget when this album came out. Just a degenerate in college. Now I’ve got a family, my wife wonders why I go back and play my “oldies” during parties.. and I go back & show her photos of my youth before we met and that’s why. Rock on.
i used to listen to this song when i was 15 and feeling depressed, somehow it used to bring me comfort. i felt so alone and listening to sum41 made me feel seen.
Watching this finally alone away from my shit house in an empty parking lot on my 18th birthday, from just being a nostalgic song to hitting me harder then it ever has in my life.
Some say we're never meant to grow up I'm sure they never knew enough I know the pressures won't go away It's too late Find out the difference somehow It's too late to even have faith Don't think things will ever change You must be dreaming Think before you make up your mind You don't seem to realize I can do this on my own And if I fall I'll take it all It's so easy after all Believe me 'cause now's the time to try Don't wait, the chance will pass you by Time's up to figure it out You can't say it's too late Seems like everything we knew Turned out were never even true Don't trust, things will never change You must be dreaming Think before you make up your mind You don't seem to realize I can do this on my own And if I fall I'll take it all It's so easy after all Some say we're better off without Knowing what life is all about I'm sure they'll never realize the way It's too late Somehow it's different everyday In some ways it never fades away Seems like it's never gonna change I must be dreaming Think before you make up your mind You don't seem to realize I can do this on my own Think before you make up your mind You don't seem to realize I can do this on my own And if I fall I'll take it all It's so easy after all Believe me, it's alright It's so easy after all Believe me, it's alright It's so easy after all
I found out I got my fiancé pregnant and this song gives me motivation to be happy about it. I have never been so scared in my life but I feel like I can do this. Music and lyrics Like this keeps me positive and let’s me know that things happen for a reason and everything is ok.

I love listen Sum41,Blink-182,5 seconds of summer,Three Days Grace,Hoobastank,Disturbed,Linkin Park,Rammstein,3 doors down,Thousand Foot Krutch and other foreign music groups🎧💯
You don’t seem to realize I can do this on my own. Sums everything up right now. Thank you for making me stronger so I can walk away now that you’ve changed.
I didn’t understand lyrics at all because I couldn’t speak English but after 10 years of learning English because of this song, now I understand this song has very emotional and strong lyrics. Thanks so much Sum41 and Merry Christmas!
I love this band way back till this day and forever more. It doesn't matter how old some gets . Good music lives on forever no matter how many years old a song may be. As long as you can still hear you will be able to enjoy this for the rest of your life
I'm strict when it comes to favorite bands and Sum 41 made it to third for me and that's hard as hell! 1. My Chemical Romance 2. Rise Against 3. Sum 41
I laughed out loud at 1:15 when the news reporter said "dreaming" and raised his eyebrows up to really convince and point out to us or whoever that we must be dreaming. Hilarious! Love this song. It's one of my favorites.
Sum41 I’ve been listening since I was 12 or 13 years old I’m 31 now thank you for all of the music you’ve put out , you’ve helped me out in more times then I’d like to say .
I always thought this was a classic Britpop song as well. If this was released in the '90s by a band from the north of England, it would have sold millions of singles
Some say they like Sum 41. I say they are the best. Some say the music is good. I say never get enough. Some say I would never know. I say the day is soon. It s so easy after all.
Natalia Banoy Same techniques as used in Birdman. You shot all scenes, and cut them when you pan the camera. Watch this (around 45 seconds in) for more detailed info vimeo.com/28517046

Criminally underrated song. This song really hits so much harder as you get older
it hit hard when i was 14 and, now, few years after, too
Facts. I was listening to this when I was like 12. I'm 26 now and it hits so much harder.
Fs, from my teens to my mid 30s lol
I dont think its underrated, its often considered among best Sum 41 songs.
Ahhh... The days of skating, chilling, no smart phones, RuneScape 2005/2006, AOL & MSN, no facebook... Ahh, miss these times so much
May have been founded, but MySpace was the choice & MSN.

No memes, no immature bullshit, just good friends, good hang outs.. ahh early 2000's to around 2006 good times man! actually do feel like having a tear sometimes haha, things change so much =/
memes were a thing in the early 2000's. just not mainstream. Once things are mainstream they get irritating.
No it wasn't a thing, it was something completely different. Not the extent that it is today.
The new generation literally killed the way the world works.
Sum 41 is one of the greatest bands of all time. Grew up listening to them. I will miss you guys. But the music will last for eternity.
So sad album and tours this year will be the last. Hadn’t a chance to come to any :(
My favorite band, hope their music truly will live forever even for younger generation.
Gotta re-listen “Underclass Hero” album over and over in wait for the new album…

Thank You for the musics, Growing up with me in childhood days
Sum 41 freaking rocks. So many awesome songs from this band
+darthman vader to me pop-punk always sounded generic and bland
+Str1000ac No one cares you about your opinion insignificant human what a buzzkill you are and Sum 41 is more than pop punk they are alternative rock, nu metal and melodic punk/hardcore, pop punk is more like Green Day, Blink 182, Nickelback and so on. +Garrett Lifespan Nickelback is not poppunk
luuk klein Ok so they are alternative rock then pop punk isn't a specific sound of rock anyway just like how every grunge band sounded completely different from one another so your opinion is subjective.

"Some say we're better off without knowing what life is all about" Amazing...
I love the way Deryck writes songs! The lyrics make SOO much sense and they have meaning and power to it on EVERY SONG! Besides blink 182 talks about girls on most of their songs. I love blink 182 but I always go with Sum 41!
Resident Skumfuk Totally agree dude :) I also like blink, but lemme be honest, they suck live DD:

The best line up, and era of Sum 41, this album is really a masterpiece.

The nostalgia is real with this song, holy shit!
I cannot believe this video doesn’t even have 20M views. It’s one of my favorite songs, definitely ahead of its time. Perfectly captures the reality of modern society.

Pretty sure it's about growing up so it'll always apply
The entire Chuck album is gold.

This song makes me think about all of my wrongdoings in high school; messing up girlfriend relationships, losing groups of friends, things I should have done, and things I shouldn't have done.

Greatest modern band EVER

The best song Sum 41 ever made.
Feels like life gets worse the older you get. More responsibilities, less fun, but that's life they say.
It definitely seems like it
best avatar ever omg vivi 4.20 blazing it
Is your picture of Vivi from Final Fantasy IX? It's terrifying
It is indeed.
i thought being an adult is the best part of life....never have I been so wrong
"Chuck" was definitely their materpiece
Unreal how good it is
The chorus is so catchy!!! I had this song stuck in my head for years probably from hearing it somewhere, and i only recently found out the song's name. Im so glad its a Sum 41 song!
Probably one of the most underrated song ever

I don't care what Deryck looks like today, he is still a god and Sum 41 will always be the best band that ever lived. Fuck everyone else.
The solo on this song is just perfection.
Whether it was 2004 or 2005, I can't remember exactly.
I think it was probably 2005.
It was Sum 41's song that was the first time in my life that I listened to a foreign song, and I still can't forget the shock of that time.
After that day, the 'first' song of my life became Sum 41's .
I listened to it until I got tired of it, and now I can't delete from my MP3 player, even when I want to listen to another song.
Eventually, around the time I was graduating from high school, my MP3 player broke down, and only then did this song disappear from my playlist.
But nevertheless, the 'first' song of my life is still the same even now.
Because I can't throw away a piece of my youth with the passing of time.
I understand
This song's really hitting home right now. The love of my life ended it with me a few weeks back, Sum 41 is helping, that's for sure!
good luck brother. our capacity for hurt reveals nothing short of our capacity for love.. Don't let your big heart bring you down. its there for a reason.
Some say-Zillakami
Things will never change... We have to change ourselves... from inside.. out.... everyone individually...
its too late when you realise this
As old I as I feel now, I won’t ever forget when this album came out.
Best punk band on the planet
This takes me back, nostalgia is so cruel.
Watching this finally alone away from my shit house in an empty parking lot on my 18th birthday, from just being a nostalgic song to hitting me harder then it ever has in my life.
Some say we're never meant to grow up
I'm sure they never knew enough
I know the pressures won't go away
It's too late
Find out the difference somehow
It's too late to even have faith
Don't think things will ever change
You must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
And if I fall I'll take it all
It's so easy after all
Believe me 'cause now's the time to try
Don't wait, the chance will pass you by
Time's up to figure it out
You can't say it's too late
Seems like everything we knew
Turned out were never even true
Don't trust, things will never change
You must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
And if I fall I'll take it all
It's so easy after all
Some say we're better off without
Knowing what life is all about
I'm sure they'll never realize the way
It's too late
Somehow it's different everyday
In some ways it never fades away
Seems like it's never gonna change
I must be dreaming
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
Think before you make up your mind
You don't seem to realize
I can do this on my own
And if I fall I'll take it all
It's so easy after all
Believe me, it's alright
It's so easy after all
Believe me, it's alright
It's so easy after all
I found out I got my fiancé pregnant and this song gives me motivation to be happy about it. I have never been so scared in my life but I feel like I can do this. Music and lyrics Like this keeps me positive and let’s me know that things happen for a reason and everything is ok.
oh man! I went through that same damn fear that your life will change and that the future is uncertain. But don't doubt that you can do it. My daughter is now 9 and I am very proud to be by her side. Motivation my friend!!!
Congratulations to both of you, dude. It's alright to feel fear, just do your best to support her and make a go of it. You both got this.

man the nostalgia
This album was kick ass. Lots of great tracks on it
there's something about the guitar solo that is so emotional and nostalgic, i can't imagine a better solo for this song
I can't believe I've never heard of this band. I stumbled upon them today and I don't regret doing so.
Welcome to Paradise...
Shit, that was Green Day, sorry...
About 12 years late, but still better than nothing.

True teenage music!
Best song everrr
I didn’t understand lyrics at all because I couldn’t speak English but after 10 years of learning English because of this song, now I understand this song has very emotional and strong lyrics. Thanks so much Sum41 and Merry Christmas!
In 2000's I was a teenager who enjoyed your music a lot!
Thank you for the joy and awesome sound! YOU ROCK!
Chuck Sum 41 is my favorite Sum 41.

times of the music that will never return......
Ten years later, I'm still loving this song
The Best Song !!!
Saw you guys in Detroit the other night, easily one of the best shows I've ever been to. Thank you for everything over the years.
This song is the anthem for down to earth people.
Been a fan of these guys from the very beginning. Grew up in the 90's and early 2000's and their music was everywhere back then.
I love this band way back till this day and forever more. It doesn't matter how old some gets . Good music lives on forever no matter how many years old a song may be.
As long as you can still hear you will be able to enjoy this for the rest of your life
This is the kind of songs to bang your head to while tears is pouring down your eyes
This song really has a deep meaning
I'm strict when it comes to favorite bands and Sum 41 made it to third for me and that's hard as hell!
1. My Chemical Romance
2. Rise Against
3. Sum 41
I love you
Peter Kováč I love you too, Pookie.
Ana Lazovic It isn't a band. It's they symbol for Anarchy. If you don't know what that is, Google is your friend.
FreeRebel thank you I was wondering what that is for long time. Btw my top 3 are Green Day,All Time Low and Sum 41 at the moment
I love MCR and Rise Against! Awesome taste in music! :D

Sum 41 is one of the best Punk metal band I've ever seen they're absolutely amazing 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Let us all keep this and all the other music alive and loud!!✌🏼🤘🏼
I laughed out loud at 1:15 when the news reporter said "dreaming" and raised his eyebrows up to really convince and point out to us or whoever that we must be dreaming. Hilarious! Love this song. It's one of my favorites.
Sum41 I’ve been listening since I was 12 or 13 years old I’m 31 now thank you for all of the music you’ve put out , you’ve helped me out in more times then I’d like to say .
Amazing surprise how much emotions are coming by listening to it.
This song makes me long for something. I don't know what it is, but I miss it
Who's listening this 2019? I am! Damn this song is damn that nostalgia
Its a very good song i suggest you to listen to Zillakami - some say ;)

I new some jackoff was gonnna say oh whos still listening in 2019? Shit is getting old.
Masterpiece.
NAILED IT
this song sounds like Oasis is singing angry "wonderwall"
I always thought this!
and chorus is almost same as Handle This
Deryck actually does sound like Liam Gallagher at points!
No wonder I feel like heard other song
I always thought this was a classic Britpop song as well. If this was released in the '90s by a band from the north of England, it would have sold millions of singles
Life was so simple back when I was in high school
I miss those days
Some say they like Sum 41.
I say they are the best.
Some say the music is good.
I say never get enough.
Some say I would never know.
I say the day is soon.
It s so easy after all.
Some say = Somewhere i belong ❤
Thank goodness I'm not the only one!
0:37 literally reminds me of the bridge part
So glad I had the chance to see thim in Paris recently
IT IS ALMOST 2015 AND I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THEY MADE THIS AMAZING VIDEO
Natalia Banoy Same techniques as used in Birdman. You shot all scenes, and cut them when you pan the camera. Watch this (around 45 seconds in) for more detailed info vimeo.com/28517046
Natalia Banoy Usually for these kinds of videos, they'll learn to mouth the lyrics backwards but film the rest of it normally.
I remember first discovering this song around the time Revenge of the Sith came out lol. Damn good memories from when I was 16...
"If I fall, I'll take it all. It's so easy after all"
