There is your standard school marching band. There is your state government or even military marching band. Then you have KYOTO TACHIBANA SHS BAND. Totally next level. I have yet to find any band in the world world that is even close. PERIOD
I enjoy watching this over and over. The KT band 2017/18 was fantastic. It will be a difficult task to be better than this. I’m sure that the new KT “big” band that will be flying to California this December will have some plans to entertain the crowd. Looking forward to that! The good news is that this band will include graduates (2021/2022) that had very little opportunity to perform publicly because of the pandemic. They did not experience the big cheers that they deserve. I know that our friends in America will give big cheers to the current students and these graduates.
That we will! I'm from Colorado, USA, and I will travel over 1,200 miles during the Rose Bowl Parade to watch them in the parade, band-fest, and other appearances!
Oh wow that’s cool to hear! Is there a website that shows their schedule? My wife and I would like to watch them in California. Would be worth paying for a Disneyland ticket to see this band live
@ItsAndrewXPIRL They usually have several scheduled concerts and appearances during their stay in the Pasadena area. If the past is any indication, they will do a parade at Disneyland, a performance at bandfest, at least a performance at a school in the area, a sit-down concert, and then the Rosebowl Parade. Finally, they do a thank-you concert to their host families. The last one I believe offers some tickets, but if past videos are any indication, it is a very emotional event as they say goodby to the families they've bonded with! I don't think they will have a specific schedule out until the last month or two before they go to Pasadena. I have them on my bucket list to see live and I plan to fly to Pasadena this year to attend as many of the events as possible. I think bandfest and their formal concert is the best place to see them for more than just passing by. There are a number of videos of all of their past performances at these venues.

Mostly they graduate and move on never to be seen again by fans. However we know that Yuina Mita (second row of snare drums on right - see 3:48) is married with a daughter and is leader/drummer of a fantastic band of mostly alumni called the O-Vils. Chippi, two rows behind her playing a glockenspiel, is also a band member. Both are lighting up Disneyland with their brilliant smiles. 😁
@@rossphillips5916 There are up to 15 (or more) O-Vils members or former members that participated in 2018 RP. Yuina Mita knew exactly what she was doing when she invited them into her band. That's why O-Vils are amazing... 😊👍

もう何千回と観てます。初めて観た時あまりの迫力に夜通し観たのを覚えてます。可愛くてスカートひらひらさせながら完璧の演奏。来年も観られるなんて今から楽しみで仕方ないです。卒業生も引き連れての渡米らしく、クラウドファンディング募ってますよね?心ばかりだけど応援しますね🎉ほんとに楽しみ。

2025のローズパレードにはo-bilsのメンバーにパフォーマンス指導でもいいから多数参加して欲しいです。あやちゃんのガード、ゆいちゃんのクラ、ちっぴのシロフォン、大御所ゆいなさんのドラム。みんな前回オレンジデビル橘のスタイルを世界に知らしめた欠かせない人達。そして台湾との交流という次のステップへ橘を先導してくれた各期のDMさんは何としても参加していただきたい。寄付が足りないなら頑張って金策します。国に税金むしり取られるよりもよっぽど有意義な使い道ですから。
200人出場想定でクラファンで1億以上集まってましたね^_^
この動画をやっとちゃんと観れました(＾3＾♪海外の方が観られてるのを見たことがありました。この人数だと迫力がありますよね！まだ橘を知らない人たちにぜひとも見てほしいパフォーマンスです😀😀😀

違いは指導者のレベルですよ。
この時の指導者は橘に純粋に楽しんで欲しかったのと音質は二の次でした。とにかく現場と自分達が盛り上がることが最優先でした。
今の橘と比較すると一目瞭然。大人しくなってパフォーマンスも最悪。
この状態で2025ローズ・パレードに臨もうとしてるんだから生徒達が可哀想。
コンテストには強いけど、マーチングは全然ダメダメな指導者じゃ知れてる。最近のブラエキやブルーメのマーチングパレード見れば、全然盛り上がらないのが解ると思うよ。
