He really needs to watch her perform this live. The way she can play while dancing is amazing. It really shows just how good she is at playing the violin.
I love just seeing a fun music video not overly sexualized not cussing, just pure fun.
I absolutely love Lindsey Stirling. I was lucky enough to see her live and she puts the same if not more energy into her live shows and her meet and greet, she's really down to earth and adorable.

I have been to 2 concerts, 2014 and 2017, both in Stockholm. I was blown away by her performance.
During the concert in 2014 I thought for a moment she was faking it with a pre recorded violin...but then...the bow string broke and the violin went silent... she got a new bow and continued playing... it was legit. :-D

Excellent reaction. Perhaps your musical background makes you more attentive to detail as you mentioned several things that others seemed to have missed. She's a true multi-hyphenate, she writes most of her music, produces or co-produces most music, directs or co-directs almost all her videos and edits them all. Particularly her editing is among the best I've seen; the story is always well told and the shot always matches the music. Very nuanced performer as well, the closer you look, the more you appreciate the work.
She's certainly an inspiration to me - I also like doing everything myself. 😅 I strive to be at her level!

@@MattFarkas Your middle comment struck a chord and I went back to find an example of Lindsey's DIY technique, a style you also embrace.
This is a BTS video of her video "Elements" from early on (2012), when she was a fledgling artist on a shoestring budget. In addition to showing her building the sets, sewing the costumes, scouting locations, filming the raw video and then editing it to make a professional looking product, it also shows the person that 12.7M subscribers have fallen in love with.
I'd look at the finished product first and then see how it was made.
