Never replace a Volvo with a Saab 😁 Actually old Swedes used to argue which one was better. I had a 9-5 a bit older that the one in this video, it was awesome but it broke all the time, replaced with a Volvo V70 and still have it after 9 1/2 years. Happy to hear that the 850 has been fixed, have a great trip!
I loved my 9-5 aero...wanted to love my V70 t5 too. Tbh, both were a pain in the arse, but the aero was a manual ( t5 was an auto ) and the most fun I've had in a car. My older Saabs and Volvo's were all far more robust and reliable though.
Picked up one of these a few weeks ago it was in a sorry state full of dog smells and sand but a personal valet and a once over by the local SAAB garage and it appears to be a good car, job done another SAAB 95 saved, along with a Peugeot 405 GLXD which my insurance company were refusing to cover until I had a "new" car after my Jetta TDI's engine packed it in, it's off to the scrap yard now RIP. Hopefully many years of motoring enjoyment out of the 95 and the Peugeot will undergo a mini restoration with it's new vintage status.
Some years ago, after 3 Saab 9000's. I was offered a F regd Fiat Croma. I wanted to see how it compared to the 9000. It was utter crap, btw., despite being a one owner car with 29k on the clock. The water pump started leaking on a day trip to Skeg Vegas - the day after I bought it. It really, really started leaking as we set off home. With no breakdown cover, we must've stopped , found a shop selling spring water, let the car cool and refilled it about 13-14 times. The 3 hour drive took 8 hours. We spent 2x the amount on bottled water than on petrol.
Quality cars the 95. I've got a turbo edition and actually preferred it over a company car volvo s90 which was worth 10 times more. So uncool they are cool and seats are unbeatable. Keep hold of it
cheers for opening bonnet lol 😆 tbh tighten up water pump should be fine or gasket sealer bet gasket is twisted when it's been fitted Saad 95 hands down for me even on estate had few big cumfy cars BUT I am most anti vooolvoo guy on planet and its cause of day running lights they had lol safe travels on holiday Geoff family 👪 remember sun cream and water and flip flops lol
They are good cars. And the seats are some of the best. Had a 93 years ago. Defo great for a long trip.
Still smart looking cars. For cheap, long distance comfort, hard to beat a Saab.

I forgot to mention it was only €950 pity I can't post pics here few minor scratches but it's all fixable.
And yeah your right about football it's garbage these days just like F1 not a patch on the 90's stuff.
I had that engine in my 93, good engine, never let me down. 200 bhp with a map and really good on diesel

Well done for pulling out of that potential holiday nosedive Geoff and a half decent looking 95 Estate into the bargain!!
Been a stressful week! Ha ha
Owned a few Saabs and Volvos of course a lot of car for the money, hard to find a decent manual 95 though wheels are off most 93s though 😂
93 Aero wheels
BEST CARS EVER ❤️
Put it in as mystery box
Need another saab in my life at some point 🤔 see how long my zafira lasts first never should of got rid of my 9-3 estate
Once you had a Saab it's very difficult to let go
You still got the Z3?

much better than a volvo
I have one, an '06 same colour, same wheels. Just wait until you have to repair/replace broken swirl flaps. SMFH
Looks like this car is scrapped now :(
Solskjær!? Scandinavian yes, Swedish no 😮😅
Is that Ur driveway? And football sucked after Geoff Banks and Trevor Broking died.
No I was escorted off the grounds by security 5 minutes after 👍
